Validus Apparel + Refilwe Project

I’ve featured tees from Validus Apparel on the blog a few times before but this time I’m glad to mention that they have two tees available for purchase and it’s for a great cause. Kristian Hay, co-founder of Validus Apparel is about to embark on a summer trip to South Africa were he will be helping orphaned kids with HIV. A portion of the proceeds earned from the two tees seen here will go directly to the Refilwe Project and will help those who are less fortunate. Both tees are printed on American Apparel blanks and cost $19.99 each.

Here are a few words from Kristian about the project:

“A group of teachers and students from my school are going to South Africa this summer on a mission to help orphaned kids in the establishment entitled “Refilwe”. We’re trying to help them raise enough money to build a school there as well as establish a soccer camp for the children. The majority of the kids there are not only orphaned but HIV infected and a change is needed. Of course there are a countless number of people that need our help but this is one small step on the road to a better world. With every purchase of these shirts, a portion of the proceeds will go into the trip to Refilwe.” -Kristian Hay of Validus Apparel
