I spotted these photos over at Fabrik, they were taken by Winkler+Noah and are part of a collection of over 30 portraits of children from two to eight years old. As you can see from the two photos below, the children were transformed into dolls by some Photoshop voodoo. I have to admit that these images left me stunned and interested to see the rest of the collection. You can check out the entire collection here, at the Puppet-Show.Â
And of course, I’ve included a couple of tees to match. Both of these Threadless tees feature, none other than, you guessed it: puppets!
Whenever something becomes a cultural phenomenon, you can almost always expect a T-Shirt to pop up here and there that promotes, makes fun of, or applauds that particular phenomenon. Twitter has definitely swept the Interwebs and has become a phenomenal new way for people to connect and communicate. And we’ve seen a couple of Twitter tees op up here and there, but, expect that amount to increase exponentially!Â
The popular Chicago based T-Shirt contest site, Threadless, announced earlier today that it has partnered with Twitter on a new project that will bring popular tweets to the torsos of millions. The shirts will feature notable tweets that are submitted and voted on by the users of Twitter.Â
Winners will receive $500, a prize identical to that of the Threadless Typetees contest. And to promote the submission of tweets, individuals that submit a winning tweet made by someone else will receive $140.Â
The new Threadless/Twitter tees cost $18 and feature the Twitter logo along with the @name of the tweet author on the bottom left corner of the tee.Â
Punch Out for the Wii came out today and I am super excited to play it! I was a huge fan of the original Punch Out for the NES, starring none other than Mike Tyson. In fact, I guarantee you that if you were to let me play the original game today that I would still remember the correct duck, duck, side, side, punch combinations for each of the fighters. And am I the only one that thought Mike Tyson was impossibly difficult to defeat! Man, such a fun game. I hope the Wii version is just as fun!
Check out the live action trailers below (via Johnny Cupcakes) and the two Punch Out tees The Bald bull tee is courtesy of Crazy Dog Shirts ($18.99) and the one featuring Doc Louis and Little Mac can be purchased from 80′s Tees ($20).Â
This tee by lunchboxbrain is all about one thing – dishing out positive vibes! This grass colored Design By Humans tee is the perfect shirt to get anyone lacking in the happy department. And because Mr. lunchboxbrain is such an awesome guy, he donated his DBH winnings to  two charities in Upstate NY – Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Capital Region, Inc. and Gilda’s Club Capital Region New York. B Positive is available now from Design By Humans for $20.
The winners of the Lil Wayne design contest at Design By Humans were announced today. After the less than exciting results of the Kings of Leon contest I was a little hesitant to see what the winning design would look like. This time, however, I think both Design By Humans and Lil Wayne got it right and chose an awesome design as the winner.Â
bartondamer’s Boombox Starship is a nice mix of classic rock and hip hop. I love that type treatment and the use of the retro boombox. This could easily be the keyart for Lil Wayne’s next album. Unstoppable Beast by Iconblast took 2nd place, while Young Money by burnoneLTD and Wayne in the Membrane by discodean took 3rd and 4th places, respectively.Â
Mondays and Threadless go together so wonderfully! This is Episode #15 of Coty Loves Threadless and this week, Magic Mushrooms by Ian Summers takes the cake as my Threadless Pick of the Week! I absolutely love this tee and I think you guys should check it out!  If you haven’t yet, be sure to check out and vote for my TypeTees slogan submissions -- I’m submitting one every day until I get printed! Every vote counts so vote for a slogan and help me get printed.
Dale Edwin Murray has been taking the T-Shirt world by storm and these two tees from A Better Tomorrow are just some of his more recent designs. When Chameleons Go Wrong is the newest tee that is available at A Better Tomorrow and it’s an instant classic. The dialog between the two chameleons left me chuckling for quite some time. In fact, I’ve always, for some reason, had a fascination with chameleons. If I could have superhuman powers, I’d first of all wish to have the power of invisibility (I think I mentioned this before) and if that didn’t work out then I might choose to have chameleon like skin (or maybe super strength, lol).Â
Get Awesome is simply an awesome (what other word would I use?) tee. In fact, I might be the perfect person for this tee especially since I use the word awesome on such a regular basis. By the way, best use of the word awesome of recent memory isEwan McGregor in Angels & Demons. You don’t have to watch the movie to hear him say it, just check out the trailer. He says it with such power and conviction, so much so that I will start saying awesome that way from now on. By the way, both of these tees are available now at A Better Tomorrow for just 18,00 € (~$24 US).
There’s something freakishly cool about this tee from Tim Gough but I’m not sure what it is. Could it be that, what looks like a fur ball/yeti is walking around with one eye! Maybe. In any case, I love this shirt that I spotted at Camisetas Online! More Scared is printed on an American Apparel tee and is available for $22.
This might be a day late but I haven’t forgotten about my TypeTees Slogan-A-Day Experiment! Seven more action packed slogans await for your vote, so get on it! Show me some Threadless love! To see all of my slogans and to vote for them check out my Threadless profile page. Vote for me and I will make you an awesome avocado burger if ever we meet in real life.
This is actually the best defense to getting wedgies, and the cheapest! I don’t think that I’ve been the victim of wedgies (it helps being the oldest child amongst siblings and cousins) but I do remember dishing them out!
Indeed everyone and their grandma has decided that going green is the best way to go. And of course it is. It’s even become a fashion statement for some and hence, organic “stuff” is the new black.Â
I was trying to decide what beverage to get for lunch on this particular day (I decided on H20) and stumbled upon a bottle of Welch’s grape juice. I instantly thought of @garyvee and then wine. I’m not sure why I thought of @garyvee (I’m excited about his new book, BTW) but as I was thinking about him and I thought about how grapes don’t deserve to be smashed. What have they ever done to us!
There’s isn’t really an excuse for having no excuse. Even better, try not needing an excuse in the first place that way to won’t have to worry about having an excuse for an excuse. I just confused myself there.
I’m not a fan of rain but I am a fan of this tee! It’s called The Storm and it’s available at Vector Spectre, a site that not only sells tees but also canvas art and other original pieces of art. The Storm is printed on an American Apparel tee and is available for $17.Â
While you’re there, check out The Destroyed Fidel, its a chino twill unisex military style cap. I like this style but unfortunately whenever I find these in retail stores they never fit my huge head! Hopefully they fit yours! They are available at Vector Spectre for $15.Â
