The popular French T-Shirt contest site, laFraise, is holding a special contest with Â one of the most popular producers of rum, Bacardi. I have to admit that I have had my share of Bacardi 151 shots so I am definitely no stranger to this Bermuda based spirits company.Â
Your mission for the contest is to create 2 typical characters representing theÂ personality ofÂ BACARDI LIMÃ’N and BACARDI RAZZ, two of their popular flavored rums.Â
Bacardi will host an exhibition in Hamburg, Germany on July 11 featuring 10 to 15 design entries. A winning design will be chosen for both theÂ BACARDI LIMÃ’N and BACARDI RAZZÂ characters. Each winner will receive 3000 â‚¬ for his design. Please see below for the official rules.Â
Official Rules: Flavoured rums with fresh fruit extracts, BACARDI LIMÃ’N and BACARDI RAZZ are made to be the final touch of your summer party. Create incredible mojitos Lemon or Raspberry (Bacardi Razz) and taste something really different and fresh.
You will have to create 2 typical characters representing the personality of

– Positive and heartwinning image of the brands
– No childish motives
– No sex and violence
– No alcoholic abuse (no drugs in general)
You’re not obligated to use Bacardi’s logo but weÂ´ll be pleased to see you referring to the basic fruit ingredients of BACARDI LIMÃ’N (Lemon) and BACARDI RAZZ (Raspberry)
Bacardi will host an exhibition with some designs from the contest – between 10 and 15, the number will depend on you!
The exhibition will be in Berlin the 10th July and in Hamburg the 11th July
Two days of Bacardi party to celebrate your creative and fresh spirit !
All participants have to be over 18.
Each design will be printed by laFraise on 500 t-shirts.
Each design will be printed on special stickers
Each design will be used for future events on poster, flyers and stickers.
The winning designs will be featured by LODOWN and VICE.
The right session is for worldwide and without time limitation.
We will choose two winners : one for BACARDI LIMÃ’N, one for BACARDI RAZZ.
Each winner will receive 3000 â‚¬ for his design.
The Jury will be composed by Term Shon, Creative Director of JÃ¶rg Dietzel Brand Consultant, Thomas Marecki Director of LODOWN, Tim Meier, Brand Manager for BACARDI Flavours and Guillaume for laFraise.
The submissions are opened on Monday 8th June until 22th June (12:00). One additional week for the votes. ThereÂ´ll be two different galleries, on the german part of the site : one for BACARDI LIMÃ’N, one for BACARDI RAZZ.
