Collision! by Tang Yau Hoong

Take a peek at this lovely new shirt from Tang Yau Hoong and available now at Chimpogo. You might be familiar with Tang Yau Hoong as her work has been featured at Threadless on numerous occasions so she is surely no stranger to the T-Shirt contest scene. The shirt is called Collision! and is pixelated on purpose! It is of course a design about the collision of pixels. Collision! was inspired by Hoong’s love for Lego and simple pixel graphics. Pick up Collision! now at Chimpogo for £21.

If you would like more information on the T-Shirt Contest site, Chimpogo, then be sure to check out a write-up that I did about them in Part II of my 5 Ongoing T-Shirt Contests series.

After you’ve emailed me, leave a comment in this post and finish this sentence:

“I Love T-Shirts Because…”

Please do not place direct link to the T-Shirts if you’ve figured out the answer!

This contest will last just a day and ends on Wednesday (June 3, 2009) at Midnight (Hawaii Time). Be sure to get your entry in by then!

Beetnik Aesthetics Releases Two New Tees

I am so excited by the new release by Loren from Beetnik Aesthetics! It’s the long awaited follow up to his initial release and I have to admit that these new tees are awesome. Although he released just two new designs, both are available in two colorways each, and, according to Loren, have improved in the quality department.

1) Higher quality tees – ringspun cotton is lightweight, super-soft and very comfortable, and the tees are more fitted and stylish than the first run of tees.

2) Soft prints – the inks aren’t thick or plastic-like, and almost blend into the shirt. I love this!

3) The colors POP! The pictures really don’t do justice for these shirts. The inks are almost neon, and look absolutely fantastic (especially on the darker shirts).

4) Gradients – my first time experimenting with color fades, and I couldn’t be more pleased.

The tees are available now for the introductory price of $18 (regular price is $22). And just so you know, I checked out his stock and it looks like these are super limited, only a few in each size is available. When I say a few I mean less than 10! So if you want em’ go get em’ now!

Trash and Nightmare from Glennz Tees

Looks like Glennz Tees is making voter selected tees a standard now. Here are two of his latest designs, Trash (top) and Nightmare (bottom). Trash is available on a slate colored American Apparel blank and Nightmare on a forest blank. Both are available now for $19.95.

Trash is a must-have for geeks! That trash can, for some reason, reminds me of the System 7 iteration of the Mac OS.

In other news, Glennz Tees has begun selling children sized tees. Currently, there are 7 children sized tees available for $19.95.
