These two new tees from The Dept. are absolutely wonderful! Like the rest of the line they feature the ubiquitous The Dept. Android. The tees, like the brand itself, is highly influenced by Star Wars design and I’m not complaining! The Android character simply makes me smile – I am a fan!Â
Both shirts are available for purchase from The Dept. for $22 and all shirts are printed on American Apparel blanks. Also, till August, you can save 25% off selected T-Shirts at The Dept. so go pick some stuff up, on the cheap, right now!
I absolutely love the newest tee from Robit Studios! It’s called Most Of You Are Average and it features a simple bell shaped curve. Now, if any of you have taken a course in statistics then you are probably very familiar with this “normal” curve. This very simply shape is actually very powerful and can tell us a lot about any given population.Â
Now, as a blogger, I hope that I don’t fall right smack down in the middle of the “T-Shirt blogging population.” I hope to fall at least two or three standard deviations to the right of the mean and towards awesomeness! In the world of blogging, those that stay at the peak of that bell shaped curve are easily forgotten. The goal is to be at the tail end of the curve (hopefully the positive end). Here are a few things that set this T-Shirt blog apart from the crowd:
1. Videos! Lots and lots of videos. Be sure to check out the latest episode of Co-Tee TV every Thursday and Coty Loves Threadless every Monday!
2. Attack of the Coupon Codes! Get the best deals from some of your favorite online tee shops right here.Â
3. Indie Tee Spotlight highlights the best brands and interviews the people that run those brands!
4. Honest, original reviews and rich content! Each post is built with thought. No copy and pasting of press releases here!

I’m not the biggest fan of psychoanalysis but I am a fan of Sigmund Freud. When people think psychologist, the first person that typically comes to mind probably is Sigmund Freud. His theories, no matter how outrageous continue to influence how modern day clinical psychologists who continue to use methods of psychoanalysis treat patients.
Having said that, this shirt from Busted Tees titled Yo Mama basically cracked me up! It’s an obvious homage to Freud and his Oedipal Complex Theory, in which “largely unconscious (dynamically repressed) ideas and feelings centre around the desire to possess the parent of the opposite sex and eliminate the parent of the same sex”. Essentially, boys have repressed feelings for their mother and therefore they try their hardest to be like their father in hopes that they can have their moms all to themselves. You gotta love Freud!Â
Yo Mama is available for purchase from Busted Tees for $20.Â
Here’s the latest tee from our favorite French streetwear brand, laFraise! It’s called Can You Pass The Acid Test and it was designed by stphngdn. I have zero experience with acid so I’m not sure if this is an accurate depiction of what one would experience but I do think it’s one damn cool design for a single color print!Â
You can pick up this tee from laFraise for 19,00 € now!
While you’re here and wondering what an acid trip would be like, check out this video of Pink Floyd’s Syd Barrett and his documented acid trip. It gets pretty intense and weird at some parts.

It’s been almost two weeks now since Michael Jackson passed away and the first post that I did on 15 Michael Jackson Tribute Shirts. Many of those shirts in the first post were either 1. rushed to meet early (and obvious) demand by fans or 2. made prior to his death.
Here are 10 more tees that I’ve collected since that first post that pay tribute to the King of Pop. Unlike the initial post, all of these shirts were made posthumously.
There have been a lot of scattered thoughts about these tribute shirts.
“Kind of sad to think about it isn’t it? It always takes someone to die for them to be appreciated more than when they were alive. It was so easy to poke fun of him when he was  alive and how weird he was, but as soon as something tragic happens, we aren’t laughing anymore are we.” – Franka Schulte of The Daily Tee

Italian based brand, Sympathy For The Unusual, recently released their debut line of designer tees. This collection of internationally designed shirts features the work of artists from all over the globe.Â

Our buddy Kyle Crawford from Electric Zombie recently released his new Summer 2009 line, and, probably his most impressive! As expected, there’s a lot of fun colors, guts, ooze as well as an infusion of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and WWE stars from the past!
Now there have been WWE themed Electric Zombie tees in the past, most notably his Ultimate Warrior “No Brain No Pain” design, but these new tees are even better! He features the mega powers, Hulk Hogan and the Macho Man Randy Savage (ahh, my childhood!).Â
Aside from the WWE and TMNT themed tees, he also released a bunch of other Electric Zombie shirts featuring brains, guts and insects and robots! Seems like he’s got all the bases covered with this release!Â
