Sr.Craneo! is a new brand with a bold and distinct style. I like the typography and the simple 2 color prints. The shirts have a very urban feel which I dig. The hand character seen on a few of their shirts are a bit reminiscent of Mickey Mouse, but that just might be me and my imagination. Other than that, I like it! Also be sure to checkout the Sr.Craneo Big shop, they have some interesting product shots. The designs are printed on American Apparel tees and sell for €22.00.
“Sr.CR! is a project of lifestyle and urban expansion with brand name, with an attitude and personal view of urban activism. It´s inspired by big cities nowadays life, skateboard, hip-hop, black film, old-school culture, the do it yourself, basket… It has reminiscences to the first companies of skate and street wear, it´s an independent movement inside a community and culture that’s born on the street. Sr.CR! is produced in limited editions, taking care of details and quality, in fact, most of the clothes have a specially pattern design for Sr.Craneo Character Co.”
Airastile (air-a-style) is the creation of Santa Fe, New Mexico based designer and illustrator, David Medrano. If you’re wondering what Airastile means, don’t think too hard because there is no meaning. Medrano didn’t want his brand categorized or defined by a specific genre, instead, he wanted the people that wore the brand to define it – Airastile is what you want it to be.
I’ve mentioned Skilla Fashion on the site before, in fact, you can watch a video review that I did for the Skilla Power of Peace tee. Skilla Fashion just released a new cardigan and I thought it was worth sharing. I’ve noticed that more indie brands have been incorporating cardigans into their line. I think that the Skilla logo works perfectly on the cardigan, giving it a classy and dignified look.
The Skilla Cardigan features a classic cardigan cut, fits slim with V-neck opening, 6-button closure and a red & white Skilla logo print.
I don’t think words could even give this item justice. Seriously. So I’m going to keep the word count to a minimum so you can enjoy the photos and video. It’s a Nike branded T-Shirt Gun and no, it’s not a concept piece. It’s an actual product that was sold on the Nike website for a cool $1500 (currently sold out).
Holy Crap is a fun little gem that I discovered over at Sharp Shirter, the same guys that brought us the popular Haymaker tee. The design itself is a bit sci-fi-ish, okay, it’s a lot sci-fi-ish. Its also got a little bit of asian influence with the anime like main characters on the front. I almost feel like this design could be a frame from a major hollywood summer blockbuster. It’s got this huge epic feel to it. I guess with dinosaurs, UFO’s and zombies, it has got to be epic. In need for a good plot to your next big screenplay? Pick up this shirt for inspiration.
Hello is a collaboration between California based skateboarder Buddy Carr and New York based graphic designer Antonio Carusone. They worked to produce both a Skateboard and matching T-Shirt. I Â care about the T-Shirt. I actually love this T-Shirt. I find it awesome that they included the all encompassing Hawaiian word, Aloha. The type is perfect. I ordered the black tee.
Hello. Its such an important word. They say first impressions mean a lot. A smile paired with a friendly hello often makes for a good first impression. You can buy the Hello T-Shirt by Buddy Carr and Antonio Carusone for $22. The deck is available for $160.
In this episode of Co-Tee TV I wear My Better Half by Katrina Vaughan and available at Threadless and review Kent State from Homage Clothing, a brand based out of Columbus, Ohio that focuses on turning back the clock with shout outs to eclectic moments and personalities in sports, music, politics and popular culture. Homage tees “tell stories of triumph, individualism and hustle, preserving the old school and creating new legacies.”

Coty’s Thoughts:
Kent State by Homage Clothing.Pros: The shirt is super soft as is the print. Comes boxed in wonderful cardboard packaging and shirts are wrapped in a plastic bag. The shirt features a custom hangtag and has a Homage Clothing branded neck tag. A pack of vintage American Gladiators trading cards came packaged with the shirt. Cons: This shirt is made for a very specific and narrow niche – Kent State fans! If you love Kent State  you’ll dig this vintage tee. If not, well, you really wont care much about it. Pricey. Price: $32.
My Better Half by Katrina Vaughan and available at Threadless.Pros: Simple yet effective! People will look at this one and either laugh or smile or disagree. Cons: I kind of wish the dotted line extended the length of the shirt. Price: $15.

Mr. Cupcakes just released his November batch of tees and despite the bunch of Turkey/Thanksgiving related shirts (of which I have no interest in) I am quite excited by the re-relase and new colorway for his First Date design. I love that design and although I wasn’t able to pick it up the first time around I assure you that I’ll be quick to act on this one.
The rest of the batch, were a bit meh for me. The exception being Headdress, love the front design on that one but am really annoyed by the HUGE LIMITED EDITION text on the back of the tee. Do I need to tell the world that my T-Shirt is limited edition? Really? I thought just by having something that said Johnny Cupcakes or had the cupcake and crossbones was enough of a limited edition statement in itself.
You’ve got to love the name of this shirt. Candy Bars In Flight – love it! And you know what, I have to admit that this past October was a bad month for me. Bad in that I consumed much more candy then I should have! I have a problem. Whenever the big holidays roll along I become a sucker for those candy packs that litter the shelves at the local drug store. You know what I am talking about, a bag of 50 mini Snicker bars for $2.5o. I end up buying a gazillion bags. I’m such a bad boy when it comes to candy. I have a sweet tooth. And that is why Candy Bars In Flight is the perfect shirt for me during the months of October, November and December. All of those months of have major holidays! Oh man.
Candy Bars In Flight is printed on a black organic cotton tee and is available now from Omunky for $22. Even better, you can save 15% by using the coupon code “COTY” at checkout. Score!
Yes/No is the new pair of tees just released by the typography experts over at Ugmonk. I think the product description says it best:
“Sometimes you wake up feeling great and you’re willing to say “YES†to just about anything. Other times all you want to do is say “NO†– leave me alone! Now you can just let your shirts say it for you.”
You can pick up Yes/No for $38 from Ugmonk, be sure to use the coupon code “COTY09″ for an extra 10% off your entire order. And yes, you do get both shirts. And no, you can’t purchase these shirts separately.
