It just so happens that the other day I re-watched the J.J. Abrams reboot of Star Trek for the first time since seeing it in the theaters. I watched it on blu-ray and I have to say that I liked it this time around just as much as I did when I first saw it in the theaters. Watching it again made me realize how perfect the casting choice for Spock really was.
Speaking of Spock, Glenn Jones of Glennz Tees just released his newest parody tee featuring Spock and his familiar hand gesture. Live long and …. party? The shirt is called Party Trick and from the looks of the design it looks like our seemingly emotionless friend is up to some tomfoolery. Know a Trekkie in need of a Christmas present? This will make for the perfect gift!
In this episode of Co-Tee TV I wear an American Apparel Poly-Cotton 3/4 Sleeve Raglan Shirt and review Never Too Old from Amon Clothing, a brand based out of Germany that focusing on producing designer tees with an emphasis on using organic materials and sustainable energy to produce their shirts.

Coty’s Thoughts:
Never Too Old by Amon Clothing.Pros: Never Too Old came in some of the most creative and inventive packaging that I’ve ever reviewed on the show. When other companies stick to rectangular boxes, Amon used the unorthodox triangle. They pay very close attention to detail when it comes to packaging but even more so when it comes to the tees themselves. The design is printed on an Earth Positive branded shirt which was manufactured solely using renewable green energy from wind and solar power. The screenprint is nice and soft. The shirt also is tagless in the neck area for itch free comfort and features a screenprinted label instead. Shirt is also screenprinted with the Amon brand on the lower left hem on the back of the shirt. I reviewed a medium tee, which felt like some of te larges I’ve worn before so you might want to order a size down. Cons: Design might be a bit too abstract for some – but if you dig art, you’ll probably appreciate this tee that much more. Tag on the left hem is a bit bulky. Might be a little too pricey for some. Price: 28 EURO.
Snakes & Suits recently posted this video of the photo shoot for their winter 2009 line. Adam Elmakias shot the photos for the new winter line in San Diego with This Providence and The Summer Set.
This tee from Print Liberation is the perfect compliment to the Scrooge in you. With Christmas approaching, those of us without an unlimited cash flow are probably feeling the pinch. With the endless number of Christmas parties and gift exchanges, it’s no wonder that Print Liberation made this shirt. Wear this tee to your next Christmas party and let everyone know exactly just how you really feel.
It looks like fellow T-Shirt blogger Andy Bowness from Hide Your Arms has decided to jump into the business that he so passionately blogs about about – T-Shirts! Andy posted a preview of the upcoming Hide Your Arms logo tee on his Facebook and on the HYA blog. The logo was designed by Ray Masaki, artist and founder of Lowdtown Friends & Freaks, and as you can see, the logo design features partially hidden arms!Â
“It was inevitable that after spending almost 4 years writing about t-shirts, hoodies and anything else that I thought was cool and you guys would be interested, that I would put my money where my mouth is and actually try and release a shirt.”
Expect to see the HYA logo tee available for sale around January 21, which is the 4 year anniversary of the blog. No word yet on pricing.Â
So Live Fast Apparel is a brand new brand based in the UK and they’ve got barely a MySpace and just two tees in their Big Cartel shop. What they do have, however, is Fingetica. I actually think that the print on the shirt is a tad too big and the sketch style not quite my taste. Nonetheless, I just had to post this tee here because of its name – Fingetica. It’s an obvious play of the popular Helvetica font. I found myself saying Fingetica a lot today simply because of this shirt. The execution of the shirt might not be all that great, but, the name of the shirt is brilliant. You can pick up Fingetica from Live Fast Apparel for £10.
Glennz Tees is having a little mini sale with 5 of their tees being reduced to just $11 (regular $19.95) and 2 hoodies reduced to $29.95. I don’t think I can resist picking up Office Chat now that it’s on sale! And don’t forget that Glennz has their 12 Days of Christmas promotion going on right now so all orders placed from now till December 12 will be placed in a drawing for some sweet prizes!
So I was checking out the Turtlehead shop and noticed this simple type tee and thought it was brilliant. The text is based on a line by writer/musician John McMahon and was designed by Keith Walsh. You can pick up Old Is The New New from Turtlehead for $25. And you can even score 50% off if you use the code “Mincepie” at checkout (which brings the price of the shirt down to an affordable $12.50). Buy this tee and wear it with a pair of old jeans. What’s old is new again!
In this episode of Co-Tee TV I wear a vintage San Miguel Tee from the Philippines and review the Mark Twain shirt from Spindustry Clothing & Co., a brand started by Colter Bergh in 2004. Spindustry Clothing began with just  1-color screen printing press and now their tees can be found in select retail locations throughout California.

Coty’s Thoughts:
Mark Twain by Spindustry Clothing.Pros: I’m not sure what kind of blank they used but the shirt is super soft and smooth on the skin. I really like the feel of this tee, more so than the feel of American Apparel blanks. The front print is huge, covering nearly the entire front – perfect for those that prefer jumbo prints. Shirt is tagless and features a screen printed label instead for itch free comfort. Comes packaged in a custom cardboard box and wrapped in custom wrapping paper.  Spindustry Clothing even included a vintage comic book from the 1970′s with the shirt.  Cons: I don’t really care much for the elephant logo on the back of the tee. I think that I might have been better if it had been of part of the inner neck label print. Price: $25.
It’s that time of the year again and Ugmonk is doing their share of good deeds. Ugmonk Gives Back is all about helping the community and every purchase from now until December 25 will do just that:
“This year we’ll be working with Samaritan’s Purse again to supply hot meals to needy children around the world. Each item that you purchase from Ugmonk from December 1 – December 25 will supply one hot dinner for a child. For every 5 items purchased by you and others, Ugmonk will add 2 more meals equaling a full week of hot dinners.”
Ugmonk’s Jeff Sheldon also released a new tee called There’s More To Life which is available now $24. He also released a new colorway for last years Ugmonk Gives Back shirt, Two Are Better Than One. He reprinted that one on a Forrest (dark green/black) American Apparel blank.
And even better, to help drives sales and get more meals into the hands of the less fortunate, Ugmonk is offering a 10% discount for all orders that use the coupon code “GIVEBACK09″ at checkout. offering a 15% discount on all orders that use the coupon code “COTY15″ at checkout!
