It only took them 10 years. This week, our favorite crowdsourced T-Shirt brand, Threadless, introduced a PayPal payment option at checkout! They’ve stated in the past that security was the main reason for not incorporating PayPal into the site. Fortunately for PayPal users, myself included, Threadless has seen the light. They even have a promotion to celebrate this checkout improvement. From now until May 3, users the code YayPal5 at checkout for $5 off orders of $30 or YayPal10 for $10 off orders of $50 or more. Cool.
Speaking of Threadless and Paypal, looks like our good friend Andy Bowness of Hide Your Arms has found the perfect time to reveal his newest pet project, ThreadlessGiftCertificates.com. Basically, you can pick up Threadless Gift Certificates for much cheaper than you can from Threadless.
Selling Threadless Gift Certificates has been something I’ve been doing over the past year or so, and I thought it would be a good idea to set up a site dedicated to it. That’s why Threadless Gift Certificates exists, to sell cheap Threadless Gift Certificates (and to rank well on search engines). At the moment I am just selling $25 Threadless Gift Certificates for $20, but if this site takes off I might start offering deals on the $50 & $100 GCs.
