Coty’s Thoughts:
Arachnophobia by Zombie Liquorice.Pros: Only 50 of these bad boys were printed and are therefore very limited, so if you want Arachnophobia you better buy it now. The T-Shirt is tagless and features a screen printed neck label instead. Zombie Liquorice went with a distressed acid washed American Apparel tee as the blank, very original and uncommon choice of a T-Shirt. Beautifully illustrated single color print. The ink on this T-Shirt is super soft, it blends in well with the fabric. Cons: Like I mentioned earlier, the print run for this design was very limited – size XXL is already sold out and other sizes are going quickly. This style of AA T-Shirt tends to be a bit more form fitting then the regular AA T-Shirts, and they are a bit longer in length as well. Price: $20 but you can save 11% by using the coupon code “COTYGONZ†at checkout!

I spotted an interesting video of David Arquette doing some screen printing while perusing the blog at Unknown Artifact, a brand new clothing company looking to make a name for itself.
Unknown Artifacts founder, CJ, spotted David Arquette hand printing a few T-Shirts for his clothing brand, Propr Clothing, while watching Last Call With Carson Daly. As CJ points out, Arquette is using water-based discharge ink as he hand prints his tees. Surprisingly, Arquette even admitted to having a single press at his home. Neat!
And here’s a little taste of Unknown Artifact. The three shirts below were part of the first Unknown Artifact release, which was quickly auctioned off as part of the Experimental Education Unit in Seattle, Washington. Although these shirts are not currently for sale, you get a good idea of what Unknown Artifact is all about. I don’t know about you, but I’m pretty excited to see future Unknown Artifact designs.

Gulfie by Antony Aguero for Bunker Designs.Pros: It’s an international shirt (from Costa Rica) so the chances of your friends having the same shirt is pretty much rare to none! The T-Shirt is tagless and features an inner screen printed label. I found it interesting that the thread used on the tee is a bit lighter in color then the T-Shirt color. The fabric of the T-Shirt is quite soft.  Very fun design, reminds me a lot of what you’ll find at GAMA-GO. Cons: The T-Shirt is very form fitting, so if you do order a tee then be sure to order a size up (i.e. I normally use a Large, but I probably would have fit an XL better). Bunker Designs does offer a T-Shirt sizing chart on their website so be sure to check that chart before ordering. The print is a bit thick and has somewhat of a sticky feel (I’d bit that it will get softer and lose the sticky feel after the first wash). Packaging is a bit lackluster (manila envelope) but I am happy that the T-Shirt itself was packaged in a separate, clear plastic bag. Price: $15.
Eyeconic by Dance Party Massacre.Pros: Great logo tee! T-Shirt is tagless and features a screen printed inner logo instead. Cons: Logo tees are great for people who are fans of the brand that the logo represents. If you’re not a fan of DPM or haven’t heard of them, then this tee might not appeal to you. And if that is the case then I highly recommend you check them out, you’re bound to become a fan of their work! Price: $19.95. *T-Shirt is currently available in Charcoal, but not red.
