On a scale of 0 to 100, with o being radless to 100 being amazingly rad, this Threadless T-Shirt to Lego build conversion by Alex Eylar scores an astounding 100 on my radness scale. Alex took the recently released, Tetris themed T-Shirt, and “rebuilt” it using some oversized Lego’s. Alex originally posted the photo over on his Flickr page.
And here is the original Threadless T-Shirt, Let The Game Continue by Eduardo San Gil. Interstingly, the shirt which was just released last week Monday is no longer found in the Threadless catalog. And trying to access the direct link to the T-Shirt leads you right back to the Threadless catalog. Was the T-Shirt taken down because Nintendo complained? I wonder.
Our friends at the Chop Shop released their latest T-Shirt and it again features their iconic, Gestalt-esque style, that we’ve come to know and love. WeVolve features 37 of the most famous simians on the planet. Can you identify them all? Not so sure what a simian is? I’ll help you out:
“The simians (infraorder Simiiformes) are the “higher primates” familiar to most people: the Old World monkeys and apes, including humans, (together being the catarrhines), and the New World monkeys or platyrrhines. Simians tend to be larger than the “lower primates” or prosimians.”  via Wikipedia.
I just had too much going on last week but fortunately the Weekly Recap and Linkology returns once again! Enjoy.

I’ve never been a big Lebron james fan. in fact, I’ve plain out booed him on many occasions. However, I am a Dwyane Wade fan and I have been since he first came into the league. So now I am left with the problem of cheering for Lebron simply because he now plays for the Heat. Oh well, we’ll see how this season goes because anything less than a championship will be a disappointment in South Beach. Thank goodness I don’t live in Cleveland. LeBroke is available now from Skreened for $26.99. Via In My Short Sleeve.
Count Your Blessing is an awesome little black tee that I spotted over at ATShirtBlog. You can pick this one up from ReadisWhite for just $15. Via ATShirtblog.

Threadless News:
This weeks Threadless Pick of The Week goes to No So Happy, the McDonald’s inspired design by Lora Zombie!
I’m a sucker for a good M. C. Escher themed T-Shirt. And Slinky Heaven from Glennz Tees is a very good M. C. Escher themed T-Shirt. Of course, artist Glenn Jones added his own little spin the classic never ending Escher steps by adding none other than a slinky. Brilliant? Indeed.
Diary of a T-Shirt Intern is a weekly column written by Bo, a T-Shirt blogger at Loving This Tee who is also affectionately known in the tee community as dunz0. Bo will be tracking her experiences as an intern at Tilteed and sharing her thoughts on the strange land that is Portland, Oregon!
Last week, I got to prepare a piece for printing. This time, it was an intricate 5-color illustration by B7 (Ben Foot) called “House of the Surprising Sun.†Although this was rather challenging design to work with, I learned quite a bit from my trials and tribulations.
First, I had to expose all the screens. Sometimes I wonder if the intense UV light that seeps through is killing my eyes, since I’m short and the exposure unit is near eye level.
When all of these screens were ready, it was time to head to the printing press. The first thing that I had to do was to tape up all corners of each screen, so that I wouldn’t be getting any ink into the crevices. Right off the bat, I was having trouble. How hard can taping up screens be? Very! There’s so much adjusting required, especially if you’re no pro like myself. I kept putting tape down, and having to take it off, only to do it all over again many times. I think I’ve finally figured out a technique to speed up the process and minimize the messing up, but it definitely took a while to get to where I am now.
When I had managed to finish taping everything, it was time to line up the screens. I am quite sure that I spent hours doing this. It’s much harder to get every screen perfectly lined up than I had expected. What you have to do is to print the first color, then line up the next screen with that first color, and so on and so forth. At times when I thought that everything was perfectly aligned for one screen, I’d go to tighten up the knobs and the screen would shift by a bit. Talk about frustrating!
Unfortunately, something ended up happening that made one of the most important screens unusable. The artwork seemed to be stretched lengthwise by about a millimeter, so it couldn’t line up with the rest of the screens. There was no way to fix this but to completely wash out that screen and expose a new one. It may not sound like a big deal, but that was hours lost right there!
Alas, everything worked out in the end. I was completely pooped but it was well worth it! Here’s a look at the test run of the print:
Oh, and as promised, there are dinosaurs! I apologize for the horrible picture quality, but this as good as my phone can do.
This picture was taken at a restaurant called Laughing Planet. They have super tasty burritos and delicious smoothies. What makes them really cool is that they have random dinosaur figures on their tables. I even spotted a Pachycephalosaurus on our table, which made me super happy. I did a group project on pachycephalosaurs for my dinosaur class in college. Yeah, I’m a nerd. There’s no use in denying it.
On another note, if you aren’t participating in Tilteed’s one year anniversary contest, then you should join in on the fun! You have the chance to win a Flip UltraHD camcorder, inprnt art prints, and free t-shirts. Head over to Tilteed to find out more about the giveaway!
Until next time!

First of all, those Old Spice commercials featuring that ultra confident and barely clothed Old Spice spokesperson are hilarious. So I don’t blame BustedTees for jumping on the Old Spice bandwagon with their latest tee, Swan Dive. If you haven’t seen the latest Old Spice advert then you haven’t yet realized your full potential as a human being. Seriously though, it’s funny and you should check it out below.
In this episode of Co-Tee TV I wear Little Fur Face Boy and review the Experimental Jetset Parody Tee by I Hate Clowns, a brand that was established in 1996 and passionately hates all things clown related. Like, they seriously hate clowns.
Fur Face Boy sent me an insane amount of T-Shirts from their Series 3 Line. I will be featuring the shirts throughout Co-Tee TV Episodes 70-79 so definitely keep an eye out for even more Fur Face Boy in the coming weeks! See Episode 70 of Co-Tee TV for the Fur Face Boy full review.
You can also watch this episode on Vimeo, Viddler, YouTube, blip.tv and download and sync all episodes to your iPod or iPhone by subscribing for free to Co-Tee TV in the iTunes Store.
Coty’s Thoughts:
IÂ Hate Clowns Experimental Jetset Parody by IÂ Hate Clowns.Pros: Perfect T-Shirt for those of you who loathe clowns and everything clown related. Tagless tee that instead features a custom screen printed neck tag. Relatively soft print on a 100% cotton T-Shirt. T-Shirt ships in a plastic bag to protect it from the elements during shipment. T-Shirt also came with an I Hate Clowns keychain and stickers.Cons: The T-Shirt itself, though a bit shorter in length than I am typically used to, is otherwise flawless. Experimental Jetset purist might disapprove the use of the “I Hate” text above the clown names. Price: $19 but you can save 15% off your order by using the coupon code “YAKKO” at checkout.
Little Fur Face Boy by Fur Face Boy. This weeks Fur Face Boy featured T-Shirt is so awesome that it is … gasp … already sold out! That’s right, this is the first Series 3 T-Shirt from Fur Face Boy to sell out. I feel your pain if you missed out on this gem, but you still have a chance to score some other Fur Face Boy gear before they sell out so go get on that now! For more Fur Face Boy goodness, check out Episode 70 of Co-Tee TV. Price: $32.
And here’s a peak at the LITTLE FFB BLUE VARIANT which was released on May 8, 2010 at SHOGUN and had a very limited print run of 24.
I’ve always been a fan of Itself, the online T-Shirt shop that prides itself on the simplicity of their designs. They are known for their “basic” Itself Tee – solid colored T-Shirt blanks with the only branding being the Itself tag on the lower left seam of the shirt. The Itself Tee comes in 8 solid colors, is made by itself and is priced at a reasonable $15.
But were not here to talk about the Itself Tee. The Itself shirt of the moment is The Mischievous Mr. Fox by the designer known simply as YAWN. The Mischievous Mr. Fox is a slight departure from the usual simple Itself designs, but it is nonetheless a welcome departure. The illustration looks highly detailed and the fox indeed looks quite mischievous.
Speaking of foxes, how many of you have seen Fantastic Mr. Fox? I’ve been meaning to watch this flick. I’ll probably add it to my Netflix queue.
The Mischievous Mr. Fox is available now from Itself for $24 and remember that if you spend over $60 you will receive free shipping on your order!
And by the way, I’ve gotten word from Itself that they’ll be sending me The Mischievous Mr. Fox for a future episode of Co-Tee TV! I’ve heard a lot of good things about the Itself Tee so I am excited to review this one.
Free stuff is always nice and so I thought I’d pass on this offer from the folks over at Summerjunk. They are offering a free Summer Junk Swan tee with every online purchase made at the Summerjunk shop. It’s really that simple. You purchase one tee (or polo, v-neck, hoodie, sweater) and you will score a free Summer Junk T-Shirt in return. Pretty sweat deal.
And if you’re wondering what to buy, I’ve posted a few of my favorites below, including Original Mono and Junk 69. Both are solid tees and are priced at £22.99 a piece. Head on over to Summerjunk now and grab your free Swan tee!
I’m so glad that I don’t have any weird allergies. I would be so sad if I were allergic to peanuts because that would mean no peanut butter and jelly sandwiches! There was a time when I thought that I was allergic to shelled seafoods like clams, crab and … gasp … lobster. In fact, I went through much of my teen years bypassing those foods because of a previous allergic reactions I had to clams as a child. Fearing for my life, I stayed away.
All of that changed, when, during a visit to New Orleans for a conference, my advisor from an old lab at the time, insisted that I try the raw oysters that he had ordered for our group of budding scientists. Since this was his favorite eating joint in The Big Easy, he didn’t let us order, instead, he ordered every type of seafood on the menu. My worst nightmare had come true. Nonetheless, I sucked it up (literally) and ate those oysters. AND oh my god my life had changed forever. The allergic reaction that I had expected never came and so I ate and I ate and I ate. I indulged in a decades worth of seafood in a single night. Let’s just say I made up for lost times. Ever since then, I’ve been a fan of all seafood varieties!
In any case, I thought that story would be the perfect way to segue into The Allergy Collection by the Los Angeles based design company, Jeeto. Their latest collection of patches, stickers and yes T-Shirts allow you to tell the world that you suffer from severe allergies! The collection covers peanuts, gluten, dairy, eggs and tree nuts. But alas, no seafood.
The T-Shirts from The Allergy Collection are priced from $18.95 to $19.95 and are available now from Jeeto. And by the way, these are available for the kiddos only. T-Shirt sizes available in 0-6 months, 6-12 months, 12-24 months, 3 year, 4 year and 5/6 year. Infant one piece sizes available in 0-6 months and 6-12 months.
