Johnny Cupcakes x New England Patriots Crossbones Mashup

Superbowl XLVI is fast approaching and I’m not sure who you’ll be cheering for, but for me it’ll be all about the New England Patriots. And of course, Mr. Johnny Cupcakes will be cheering for his home team too. To celebrate, he has even released a super limited edition Patriot Crossbones T-Shirt. It’s the classic Johnny Cucpakes crossbones design mashed up with New England Patriots colors. I like!

Patriot Crossbones is available now for both guys and girls at the Johnny Cupcakes online shop for $24.99. Snag one now. Tom Brady is getting old. This design might not be back for a very, long time.

Jobs > Gates

Steve Jobs > Bill Gates. Steve Jobs is greater than Bill Gates. Steve Jobs. UNDRCRWN got it right with this shirt. I absolutely love it. I adore it. I admire it. It speaks the truth. And as a longtime Apple nut I can believe that. As a MacAddict that stood by Apple even when Steve wasn’t arount, I can believe that. As a MacHead that cheered when Steve Jobs returned as iCEO and proceeded to resuscitate a near bankrupt company, I can believe that.

Steve Jobs created and innovated. Steve Jobs conceptualized products that changed the world. Steve Jobs redefined multiple industries. Bill Gates simply made sloppy copies.

UNDRCRWN1 got it right. Jobs > Gates is available now from UNDRCRWN for $28.

1. Jobs > Gates is actually a part of UNDRCRWN’s Greater Than Series. They also have a Jay > Wayne T-Shirt, which is awesome, and then I saw this. Disappointed!

Keep Calm You Will, Yes, Hmmmmm

Pepper Spray Cop aka Casually Pepper Spray Everything Cop T-Shirt

It’s funny how design inspiration comes about. This particular T-Shirt design from Etsy seller, LovesickRobotStudios, has its origins from a UC Davis Occupy Protest that took place on November 20, 2011. Lieutenant John Pike was photographed pepper spraying UC Davis students seated in protest.

Of course, this pissed off a lot of people. Soon after, Lieutenant John Pike began popping up on InternetLAND, eventually finding his way in the 1819 painting Declaration of Independence by John Trumbull and then Georges Seurat’s A Sunday Afternoon on the Island of La Grande Jatte (1884) by Tumblr blog It Makes No Sense.

And this eventually led to a Reddit thread by GeneralLudd featuring a Banksy-like stenciled illustration tittled Casually Butterfly Everything.

And that’s when LovesickRobotStudios turned Lieutnent John Pike into an actual product. For Sale. For a mere $12 you can score a faux-banksy-like T-Shirt featuring an asshole spraying butterflies.

Homage To Steve Jobs: Stay Hungry Stay Foolish

As a longtime MacAddict and Apple enthusiast, I really don’t need to explain why I absolutely love this T-Shirt.

Stay Hungry Stay Foolish is available now from Homage for $28.

“Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life. Don’t be trapped by dogma — which is living with the results of other people’s thinking. Don’t let the noise of others’ opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most importantly, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary.”

Hello Nyan Cat! Rainbow, Rainbow!

Who knew that a a pop tart cat would lead to over 50 million views on YouTube. This age that we live in, unbelievable. And of course, you can help to quench its growth by purchasing a Nyan Cat T-Shirt from Snorg Tees. The shirt is called Cat + Pastry = Rainbow and is available now Snorg Tees for $14.95.

And now some Nyan Cat history. It all stared with a little comic by prguitarman on LOL-COMICS. The comic was then reblogged on Tumblr over 3000 times. And then it led to a viral YouTube video (see below). And as they say, the rest is history.

Via Know Your Meme: On April 5th, 2011, YouTuber saraj00n posted a video titled Nyan Cat[3], using comic artist prguitarman’s Pop Tart Cat animation set to the well-known Japanese Vocaloid song Nyanyanyanyanyanyanya by Japanese artist Daniwell-P looping in the background, Although the song had been originally composed for Hatsune Miku to sing, The version used in the video was of the cover sung by the Utauloid Momo Momone.

Instagram T-Shirt Spotting: Happy Face / Sad Face

This is Instagram T-Shirt Spotting. I use Instagram a lot. A LOT. This makes sense since I’m pretty much glued to my iPhone and I love to snap photos. One of the great things about Instagram are the awesome random photos that I stumble upon. Occasionally I spot an awesome T-Shirt on Instagram like Happy Face/Sad Face* from Benjawan Ardner (@bow_benjawan on Instagram).

*I made this name up. Like many of the T-Shirts posted on Instagram, there is no mention of the brand name or T-Shirt design name.

Darth Vader Says NOOOOOOO!

I have yet to pick up the new Star Wars: The Complete Saga (Episodes I-VI) on Blu-ray, however, I have been keeping up with the talk of all the changes that George Lucas made to the movies. One change that received a lot of attention was one from Star Wars Episode 6: Return of the Jedi. If you remember, towards the end of the movie, Luke Skaywalker battles the the Emperor. In the original film, Darth Vader stands and watches (silently) as his son is beaten to a pulp. In the most recent revision, George Lucas has Darth Vader screaming “NOOOOOOOOO!” Apparently, he did this so that it would match the “NOOOOOOOOO!” that Hayden Christensen yelps at the climax of Star Wars Episode 3: Revenge of the Sith. Sigh.

In honor of this unceremonious change, the fine people at Might Fine created this “NOOOOOOOO!” T-Shirt featuring the one and only Darth Vader. NOOOOOO! is available now from We Love Fine for $25.

And hey George Lucas, can you please stop revising Star Wars already?

Stand Up To Cancer With Star Wars

These Star Wars T-Shirts were designed for a great cause and are definitely tees that I’ll support. Use the Force for good and show that you will Stand Up To Cancer. Proceeds from these Star Wars designed T-Shirts will go to benefit the fight against cancer. There are three designs to choose from and each are priced at $24.95.

Of course, the momentum from the soon to be released Star Wars: The Complete Saga on Blu-ray should help to propel the sales of these T-Shirts. Then again, Star Wars fans will pretty much buy anything Star Wars, right? And that is why I have a vinyl Yoda sitting on my desk and staring at me.

The Fuchsia is Now

Fuchsia on dark grey. Lovely. I’ve been a fan of Fuchsia ever since I had my first big box Crayola crayons. Remember those? I remember begging for the box of 64 whenever we went shopping for school supplies in my youth. Now, the startup iOS app, PopBooth is all about the color Fuchsia. In fact, they love the color so much that they created a T-Shirt for Fuchsia fans around the world.

While you wait for your Fuchsia T-Shirt, you can grab the PopBooth app for free from the iTunes AppStore. PopBooth is a free photo booth app that turns 4 photos into a photo strip: post to Facebook, send by email, or send REAL photo strips in the mail. Neat! PopBooth is available for the iPhone and the iPad.

The Fuchsia is Now is available for purchase for $16.
