Bear Shark Meme Epicness

This shirt has a lot of things going on, so let me walk you through it. First there’s a shark, then there’s a bear straddled on top of said shark. Bear is clutching a rifle while smoking a cigar. All the while, the bear has on a Three Wolf Moon T-Shirt. Not far away, there is an explosion, the kind of big explosion that Michael Bay loves to set off in his movies (see Transformers, Pearl Harbor, and Armageddon).

Can a shirt get any more epic than this? I’d sign a petition to have this shirt made into a movie. Someone, anyone, go get that petition started!

Bear Shark is available now from NerdyShirts for $24.95.

I wonder if this T-Shirt has anything to do with the sharkbeartopus meme that spread via Reddit a few years ago:

365 Days of T-Shirts: Day 3 – Threadless Punk Rock Cock Throw Pillow

Don’t get me wrong, I love each of my Threadless tees. However, my Punk Rock Cock T-Shirt suffered from a stretched out collar. As such, it wasn’t so great for wearing anymore. So it sat, unsued, in my drawer for a long time. That was until I came up with the idea to turn Aled Lewis’ classic tee into a one-of-a-kind Threadless throw pillow.

Although I came up with the idea, I have to say thank you to my mom for having the know how to actually make it into a tangible product. Thanks mom!

Having said that, the pillow is super comfy and very stylish – I Love It! I should also note that screen printed tag from the T-Shirt is sewn on to the back of the pillow (I thought that would be cool). We were originally going to use the entire T-Shirt for the pillow cover (minus the green), but the punk rock cock graphic was situated in such a way that it would have been impossible to cut a perfect square without the cock being off-center. So instead, we decided to cut a tight square around the cock and then use green fabric for the rest of the pillow. Doing this added a nice border around the front graphic.

Day 3: Custom Punk Rock Cock Throw Pillow

Materials:

  1. Used Punk Rock Cock T-Shirt ($20)
  2. 16-inch Polyester All-Purpose Zipper – Natural Creme Color ($1.68)
  3. 16″ X 16″ Pillow Insert ($6.37)
  4. White Thread
  5. Scissors
  6. Pins
  7. Ruler
  8. Pencil
  9. Sewing Machine
  10. Mom that knows how to sew

This throw pillow was inspired by Punk Rock Cock by Aled Lewis.

How many of you would be interested in purchasing this pillow? Or maybe would be interested in having a custom Threadless pillow made especially for you for a nominal fee (i.e. you choose a Threadless tee and then I buy it, make it and then ship it to you)? Comment and let me know!

Follow The White Rabbit

Follow is a great little gem that I discovered while perusing The Orphan’s Arms online shop. This London based purveyor of T-Shirts hand prints each item. I’ve always been interested in the work of people that hand print items, one at a time and often in their own studio or even garage. With hand printed items, no two T-Shirts are ever the same. But even better, hand printed shirts simply oooze love, passion and dedication that you don’t get from T-Shirts printed on a five-color machine press with robotic arms in some warehouse in Austin, Texas.

Sometimes, elbow grease make a T-Shirt that much better.

Follow is available now from The Orphan’s Arm for £32.

Dark Raven: A Threadless Star Wars Parody

First of all, aren’t the Threadless releases this week just awesome?! When doing this post, It was a toss between Dark Raven and the Cookie Monster parody tee. I decided to go with Dark Raven because, heck, we can never have too many badass Star Wars parody tees. Right? Anyway, you better grab this one soon if you dig it because you never know if and when the intellectual property guys from LucasFilms will come a knocking. Remember Dark Side of the Garden by Glenn Jones? It was one of the most popular Threadless tees and it got yanked.

Dark Raven is available now from Threadless for $18. Dust off your lightsaber and go pick this one up now!

Speaking of lightsabers, did you know that 3 of the 10 most expensive Star Wars memorabilia items sold have been lightsabers? In 2001, Qui-Gon Jinn Lightsaber From Episode I: The Phantom Menace (top) sold for $54,000 (10th most expensive item). The Darth Vader Hero Lightsaber From The Empire Strikes Back (middle) sold for $100,000 in 2005 (5th most expensive item). And the 2nd most expensive Star Wars item sold was the Luke Skywalker Lightsaber From Star Wars: A New Hope (bottom), which went for a cool $170,000.

Lion For A Day

The mantra on this T-Shirt is definitely one to live by. As the renown Australian physical therapist, Elizabeth Kenny, once put it, “It is better to be a lion for a day than a sheep all your life.” Be the master of your own domain. Don’t hide, be yourself. Let the world hear your inner roar and kick those sheep bleats to the curb [As a side note, did you know that “bleat is the proper verb that you should use when describing the sound that a sheep makes].

Random Objects delivers yet another solid tee. And if you’re keeping tabs, this is the second sheep reference made on a Random Objects tee and the fourth animal themed Random Objects shirt. Pretty random stat for you that I thought I’d throw out.

“Why go through life just following the herd when you can be as daring and bold as a lion. Sure it is easier to be like the majority of people and be told what to think and do, but to think for oneself takes courage. Stop following the flock and be a lion!”

Lion For A Day is printed on an American Apparel 2001 shirt and is available now from Random Objects for $20 but you can save 10% off your entire order by sing the code “RANDOMOBJ” at checkout.

The Mischievous Mr. Fox

I’ve always been a fan of Itself, the online T-Shirt shop that prides itself on the simplicity of their designs. They are known for their “basic” Itself Tee – solid colored T-Shirt blanks with the only branding being the Itself tag on the lower left seam of the shirt. The Itself Tee comes in 8 solid colors, is made by itself and is priced at a reasonable $15.

But were not here to talk about the Itself Tee. The Itself shirt of the moment is The Mischievous Mr. Fox by the designer known simply as YAWN. The Mischievous Mr. Fox is a slight departure from the usual simple Itself designs, but it is nonetheless a welcome departure. The illustration looks highly detailed and the fox indeed looks quite mischievous.

Speaking of foxes, how many of you have seen Fantastic Mr. Fox? I’ve been meaning to watch this flick. I’ll probably add it to my Netflix queue.

The Mischievous Mr. Fox is available now from Itself for $24 and remember that if you spend over $60 you will receive free shipping on your order!

And by the way, I’ve gotten word from Itself that they’ll be sending me The Mischievous Mr. Fox for a future episode of Co-Tee TV! I’ve heard a lot of good things about the Itself Tee so I am excited to review this one.

Peace Panda

I love this T-Shirt. I love the design, I love the message and I love how the black and white elements pop on top of the red T-Shirt.

I discovered Peace Panda from Concrete Rocket while checking out recent comments left on my blog. I almost always click out to the commenters website if they link to it and in this case, I clicked out, found this shirt, fell in love and decided to post! This should give you guys some incentive to leave a few comments here and there, especially if you’ve got T-Shirts that need promoting!

Peace Panda is available now from Concrete Rocket for $21. It is a reprint, so if you like it then be sure to pick it up sooner rather than later. I’m betting that this shirt will sell out quickly.

Laser Pointer

Now here’s a pretty cool shirt from our the guys at Busted Tees. It’s called Laser Pointer and it kind of reminds me of something that I’d see from the like of Glennz Tees. It’s a simple illustration with lots of wit. The shirt features a hound that has Superman-like laser eyes, because really, that’s what every dog needs – Superman-like laser eyes! I bet he can hunt pretty good with those eyes, don’t you?

If you like Laser Pointer, you can pick it  up from Busted Tees for $16.99.
