Labyrinth’s Key To Life

What’s the Key To Life? If you knew the answer to that then you’d probably either be 1. very enlightened, or 2. very rich. Actually, you’d probably be both. Key To Life is part of Labyrinth Clothing’s Ancient Series and depicts an Ancient Egyptian inspired illustration revealing a hieroglyphic message of the Key to Life on a cartouche, “The key to life is that life is a Labyrinth” so where will yours take you?

Key To Life is available now from Labyrinth Clothing for $16.50.

PS: It’s cool to see Labyrinth Clothing still kicking. They were one of the first indie brands that I covered when I started this blog. Many of those early brands have died off, Labyrinth Clothing has survived. Awesome.

A Little Bit Weird (And Now Available On Facebook)

Facebook has pretty much become ubiquitous with having any type of presence on the web. If you’re a brand, have a website or sell stuff on the web then you probably have a Facebook Fan Page. Indie brand A Little Bit Weird has decided to use their Facebook page as something more than a dumping spot for their media. They have opened up a storefront on the fan page to compliment their main online shop.

I really think this is a great idea. I don’t think that I’ve seen any other indie brands selling their tees directly from within Facebook so this is quite a refreshing move by A Little Bit Weird. Go ahead and check out their page, below you’ll see two of my favorites from their shop, Father Time and Guys Bear, both of which are available for $24.

Coty’s Thoughts:

Fistachio by Maiden Voyage Clothing Co. Pros: Lovely presentation, the T-Shirt was packaged in such a wonderful way that  I had a great experience going through each layer of the boxing before I got to the actual shirt. Shirt comes packed in a little sack much like one you would find on any ship in the 1700’s, except it’s a bit miniature (so cool). The shirt was tagless and featured a screen printed neck label. A custom hangtag is included as well. The print is extremely large and super soft, as is the shirt itself (soft that is). Love the fact that they have a theme and stick with that theme from the website to the packaging to the shirt design. All around awesome in my opinion. Cons: The shirt is very slim fitting so if you like your shirts a bit on the loose side I’d suggest ordering a size up. Price: $28

I Be Au Sm by Lawrence Villanueva and available at Threadless. Pros: If you are a geek you will enjoy this shirt – I guarantee it. Cons: Complaints? I don’t have any. I absolutely adore this shirt, I guess that make me a geek. Price: $15.
