The Free Movement Projec is a brand that started in 2008. Started by Ashton Vaughn, FMP is based on creativity and randomness. And other stuff:
“So, what in the hell does “Free Movement Projec” mean? Why doesn’t the “Projec” have a “t” on the end? To tell the truth, I don’t know why the “Projec” doesn’t have a “t”. Maybe style? But trust me, the name of the brand has a meaning. Free Movement Projec is an indie clothing project created out of my love for creativity. Each unique design is somehow inspired by music (GOOD hip-hop, electronic, rock, etc.) and street and abstract art culture. fmp is for the artist, the one who spends time on his/her craft, no matter what it is. Whether you’re just sketching at your desk or nailing that trick you’ve been working on, you are representing the Free Movement. fmp Clothing just personifies that love.”
Two FMP tees caught my eye, A Hipster Named Josef and Painting Murals for the Mind. Like FMP the brand, both of the designs are creatively loud and in your face. I love it. Both T-Shirts are available now for $15 from The Free Movement Projec.

When I first saw the “I Rarely Sleep, But I Always Dream” from Dreamnlive Apparel, I thought about another indie T-Shirt creator, Carlos from Oven Fresh Dreams. It might be 10pm or later Hawaii time, but I often see Carlos talking about hustling for his brand – developing, creating, and imagining new ideas. And mind you, if it’s 10pm Hawaii time, then it’s 4am in New York. That’s love.
That same love for dreaming is what Dreamnlive Apparel is all about. “Dreamnlive (pronounced: Dream-and-live) is an inspirational and innovative brand that was established as an outlet for the ideas, expressions, thoughts, and actions of its creators, with the hopes of positively influencing popular culture.”
When I first took a look at the Dreamnlive collection, I had this feeling that they were a chill and easy going brand that didn’t take themselves too seriously. I like that. If you’re a dreamer who likes big letters and bold colors then Dreamnlive Apparel is something that you should check out. All T-Shirts are priced at $24.99 and are available now at the Dreamnlive Apparel online shop.
