The Experiment Jetset phenomena rolls on with these two new tees from our friends at Found Item Clothing. Both shirts references characters from 80′s movies classics. In fact, The Goonies was one of those movies that I grew up watching – over, and over and over again. I remember the first time I watched it, my dad had rented a copy from a local video store when it was just released (I remember the sticker on the case proclaiming it to be a new release). At the time, I had no idea what or who the Goonies were. But once the film on the VHS tape started to roll, I was hooked. Goonies never say die!
Ferris Bueller’s Day Off, the John Hughes classic from 1986 (a year after The Goonies was released), didn’t catch my attention until 2 or 3 years after it was originally released. From what I recall, I caught it on HBO. I might have been too young to appreciate the antics of Mr. Bueller, but my appreciate for him grew with every re-watch.
The 80′s, they were great.
Both Goonies and the Ferris Bueller’s Day Off T-Shirts are available now from Found Item Clothing for $21.95.

You hear of people that really detest clowns and who are absolutely mortified by them. These are usually one of those oddball characters you see at the movies or on a TV sitcom. I actually have a friend that is totally terrified of them. He hates clowns. He hates them with such a passion. I can’t remember the specifics, but I believe that this fear and hatred towards clowns stem from an early childhood experience. In any case, I think I’ve found the perfect Christmas present for him.
I Hate Clowns delivers this Experimental Jetset parody tee featuring the names of some of the most famous clowns in the history of the clowning profession. Krusty, Homey, Ronald, Shakes, and Pennywise are all accounted for. Trust me, if you know someone that has an aversion to all things clown related, this is the perfect gift to get them!
This Experimental Jetset parody tee is printed on a black American Apparel blank and is available now from I Hate Clowns for $19.

When Experimental Jetset created their “John & Paul & Ringo & George” for the Japanese label 2K/Gingham I would bet money that they probably did not think it would become the cultural icon that it did. “John & Paul & Ringo & George” has been parodied over and over and over again. Or should I say, Over & Over & Over again. NerdyShirts now adds to the list of brands and individuals capitalizing on the success of Experiment Jetset’s typographic idea. Pick up all four of these shirts for $19.97 a piece and score free shipping. Place your order before this Friday (12/18/2009) to make sure you receive it before Christmas!
