Coty’s Thoughts:

Multislacking-Slacker by Teezeria. Pros: Super fun design! Have a slacker in your life? Or maybe you’re a self-proclaimed slacker. If so then this is the shirt for you! Because Teezeria prints their tees on demand, you have the freedom to choose any color shirt you’d like the design printed on. One of the best parts about receiving a T-Shirt from Teezeria is the custom pizza box like packaging. The designs are printed on American Apparel tees so you know you are getting a quality shirt. T-Shirt also came with specific washing instructions so you know how to handle the direct-to-garment print. Cons: The main drawback of doing on demand direct-to-garment prints is that the prints don’t come out as soft as some of the screen printed tees do. For instance, the Multislacking Slacker print had somewhat of a vinyl like feel to it. The positive is that the print tends to soften up afte the first wash. Price: $20.

Exploded Andy

Regular readers of this blog know that I am a diehard Apple fan. Having said that, it hurts me just a little bit to post this Exploded Andy T-Shirt by the people who have brought us the other exploded classics. The latest exploded tee features that famous little green robot that populates … Android based phones. I know that there are a few of you Android users that read this blog and so this, my friends, is dedicated to you!

Exploded Andy was designed by Garry Booth and is available now at ExplodedAndy.com for $19. And if you’re so inclined, you can also pick up this design in poster form.

PS: I’m not exactly sure of the origin of the “Andy” name for the little green Android robot. I tried googling information on the name of the Android robot and nothing regarding Andy came up. Anyone have any idea about this Andy name? If I had to guess, it is in reference to Android co-founder, Andy Rubin. Thoughts?

Exploded iPad

It was inevitable that the guys that delivered the Exploded iPhone and Exploded Mac 128 tees would also give us the Exploded iPad T-Shirt! I am a fan of all things Apple related, so it should be obvious that I am a fan of this latest exploded Apple T-Shirt by artist Garry Booth.

What is truly remarkable is how simple the hardware seems to be. Just a quick glance at the graphic of the exploded iPad, and you’ll notice a relatively small amount of pieces, screws included.

The Exploded iPad (it’s technically named the “Exploded Pad” for what I would believe to be legal reasons) is available now from ExplodedPad.com for $19. You can also pick up a matching poster for the same price. The poster is 18 inches x 24 inches and is hand-pulled screenprint on quality 100lb. French Paper Speckletone (Kraft).

Coty’s Thoughts:

Bombs Away! by Dale Edwin Murray and available at Tilteed. Pros: Excellent four color print, vibrant colors, fun design, printed on an American Apparel blank so you know I love the it and feel. Shirts come with custom hangtags but mine was shipped before the tags arrived. Perfect shirt for the kid at heart or for those who like to drop bombs! Cons: Not tagless, plain mailer. Price: $18

Vince Vulcan by Cloxboy. Pros: If you swear by the Sham Wow then this is the shirt for you! Perfect mashup of two epic characters, the Vulcan Spock and Vince Shlomi. This shirt comes from the guys that brought us the iSteamPhone, Exploded360, and Exploded128. Soft print on an American Apparel blank, Cons: Not tagless. I kind of wish that the print was a tad larger. Price: $20.

Coty’s Thoughts:

You Might Need More Than A Nightlight This Time by Evanimal. Good: Nice custom packaging and T-Shirts are individually packaged. This is the first ever winning tee at ShirtFight and so it makes a nice collectors item. Printed on an American Apparel tee so you know I like the fit, 5 color soft print, orders come with a ShirtFight thumb wrestling kit. Bad: I wish they went tagless. Price: $18.00.

Nightlight by Evanimal

Exploded 128 by Garry Booth. Fun shirt for any Mac fanboy (like myself)! I’d wear this tee with pride any day. Love the colorway and it’s printed on a American Apparel tee so you know that I dig that! Price: $18.00.

Co-Tee TV Episode 15: iSteamphone, AlrightOK and Salutations

In this episode I wear iSteamphone by Kevin Tong and review Welcome Home from AlrightOK, a Florida based brand that is a single-minded collective visually expressing their loves, hates and fears through the medium of T-Shirts. Coty’s Thoughts:

Welcome Home by AlrightOK. Good: Great design, lot’s of extras including custom hangtags and pins, screen printed (discharge print) in three different areas (front, back and inner neck), tagless for itchfree comfort, print should get softer after first wash, and the packaging is top notch. Bad: The tee is printed on an Alstyle blank and is a little baggier than I am used to, but I am sure that after the first wash it will fit perfectly. Price: $22.00 but you can save 20% if you use the coupon code “coty” at checkout.

Welcome Home by AlrightOK

iSteamphone by Kevin Tong. This is a great T-Shirt for any Apple fan or even Da Vinci Fan, would make a great gift! Printed on an American Apparel blank so they are super soft and they fit well. This exploded tee puts other exploded tees to shame! Price: $20.00.
