Pug Face

All I’ve got to say is: WOW. Is this the next Three Wolf Moon?

Pug Face is available now from Tams Treasures. Hat tip to imgur (Thanks, Scott!).

Instagram T-Shirt Spotting: Happy Face / Sad Face

This is Instagram T-Shirt Spotting. I use Instagram a lot. A LOT. This makes sense since I’m pretty much glued to my iPhone and I love to snap photos. One of the great things about Instagram are the awesome random photos that I stumble upon. Occasionally I spot an awesome T-Shirt on Instagram like Happy Face/Sad Face* from Benjawan Ardner (@bow_benjawan on Instagram).

*I made this name up. Like many of the T-Shirts posted on Instagram, there is no mention of the brand name or T-Shirt design name.

New Designs From Milk & Eggs Co

Our friends over at Milk & Eggs Co. just released a slew of new T-Shirts that are definitely worth checking out. I actually think this new line is a step up from their last release, which I thought was a bit too “kid-ish” for my taste. Needless to say, I think that Milk & Eggs Co. really do excel with their simple illustrative style, with each shirt telling its own story.

My favorites from this line has got to be 3D Eyes – it’s minimal and a bit haunting. I love it! Walk Like an Egyptian is hilarious. At first I thought that was a turkey on the top of the pharaoh’s head and with its fall colors it would have made for the perfect Thanksgivings T-Shirt.

The new Milk & Eggs Co. T-Shirts are available now and are priced between $20-$22.

Unique LA Spotlight: Three Apparel

During the next few days I’ll be featuring the awesome clothing brands that will be setting up booths at Unique LA, an independent design and gift show that will take place on April 24th thru the 25th at the California Market Center.

If you’re an adult with the heart of a big kid then you’ll love the tees that Three Apparel have to offer. Three Apparel specializes in modern cartoon style T-Shirts. Their shirts features vibrant colors and fun, off-the-wall characters. They’ve got a bunch of cool designs but by far my favorites include the one-eyed and five-legged Happy Attack tee and the Mario and Luigi parody, Arab Bros.

Three Apparel features the artwork of Peter Michail and Tony Salama. T-Shirts are printed on 100% Cotton Fine Jersey tees and are available for sale for $20.

You can find Three Apparel at Unique LA in Booth 246 next to the Free Workshops area.

Don’t Close Your Eyes, Take Them Off!

Wow, now this is a neat little gem of a tee from Flying Mouse 365. This is definitely one of those concept tees that look great as a mock up. Now, if I only I could see and feel the real thing. The print on this tee is huge and probably very difficult to pull off. I kind of wish that the part of the head not on the front would wrap around to the back and so would part of the hair – that would have been so awesome.

The shirt design itself probably speaks more to women than it does men, but I am sure that many of you fashion friendly men that read this blog would not mind one bit wearing this shirt. OFF by Flying Mouse 365 is available now at the Flying Mouse store for $21. It is printed on a white American Apparel tee and the print uses plastisol ink, making it soft to the touch.

I also noticed that the Flying Mouse 365 site has moved away from the limited edition weekly release model. They no longer release 7 new designs a week.

New Tees From Dance Party Massacre

If you’re a regular reader of this blog then by now you must be familiar with Alex Dakoulas and his brand, Dance Party Massacre. I’ve featured DPM in the past for both Indie Tee Spotlight #9 and Co-Tee TV Episode #11. Basically, I love Dance Party Massacre! And so I was happy to hear that DPM had recently released 3 new tees and 2 new colorways of DPM classics.

Both Fear Nothing and Fresh 2 Death both represent the DPM look that we know and love. The other new tee, All Work and No Play (white) is a bit of a departure from the typical DPM style and I like it! What better way to get up close and personal with mere strangers then having them read tiny text on your t-shirt. The new Dance Party Massacre gear is available now for purchase and range in price from $21.95 to $27.95. And in case you’re looking to accesorize, they’ve got some new bandanas and a fancy Steel Necklace for sale.

Love Is Blind by Reece Ward

For my Master’s Thesis, I researched individuals suffering from migraine aura. If you’re not familiar with migraine aura, it’s basically a migraine that includes visual hallucinations prior to the actual migraine attack. One of the pre-tests that I did on patients, just to make sure their vision was okay was the Ishihara Colorblind Test. And so when I saw this tee, designed by Reece Ward, memories of my Master’s Thesis came flooding back.

I love the concept of Love Is Blind and would definitely wear it in a heart beat. It would be so awesome if I was still giving these colorblind tests to patients. It would probably lead to some interesting conversations! You can pick up Love Is Blind by Reece Ward from his RedBubble store for $24.34.

More Scared by Tim Gough

There’s something freakishly cool about this tee from Tim Gough but I’m not sure what it is. Could it be that, what looks like a fur ball/yeti is walking around with one eye! Maybe. In any case, I love this shirt that I spotted at Camisetas Online! More Scared is printed on an American Apparel tee and is available for $22.

Wolf In Sheep’s Clothing by Random Objects

This tee is called Wolf In Sheep’s Clothing and it’s the newest tee from Random Objects. Something about this design is so striking. The eyes on this are so haunting that I catch myself staring at them for much longer than I should! The design is cleverly based on an old Aesop fable about a clever wolf who disguises himself as a sheep to stalk its prey. Are you a wolf in sheep’s clothing?

Pick up this tee for $20.00 from Random Objects today. It’s printed on an American Apparel blank and comes with a “mystery random object” and stickers!

Wolf In Sheep's Clothing by Random Objects

Wold In Sheep's Clothing by Random Objects

A wolf found great difficulty in getting at the sheep owing to the vigilance of the shepherd and his dogs. But one day it found the skin of a sheep that had been flayed and thrown aside, so it put it on over its own pelt and strolled down among the sheep. The Lamb that belonged to the sheep, whose skin the Wolf was wearing, began to follow the Wolf in the Sheep’s clothing; so, leading the Lamb a little apart, he soon made a meal off her, and for some time he succeeded in deceiving the sheep, and enjoying hearty meals. Appearances are deceptive.
