If you’re a regular reader of this blog then by now you must be familiar with Alex Dakoulas and his brand, Dance Party Massacre. I’ve featured DPM in the past for both Indie Tee Spotlight #9 and Co-Tee TV Episode #11. Basically, I love Dance Party Massacre! And so I was happy to hear that DPM had recently released 3 new tees and 2 new colorways of DPM classics.
Both Fear Nothing and Fresh 2 Death both represent the DPM look that we know and love. The other new tee, All Work and No Play (white) is a bit of a departure from the typical DPM style and I like it! What better way to get up close and personal with mere strangers then having them read tiny text on your t-shirt. The new Dance Party Massacre gear is available now for purchase and range in price from $21.95 to $27.95. And in case you’re looking to accesorize, they’ve got some new bandanas and a fancy Steel Necklace for sale.

For my Master’s Thesis, I researched individuals suffering from migraine aura. If you’re not familiar with migraine aura, it’s basically a migraine that includes visual hallucinations prior to the actual migraine attack. One of the pre-tests that I did on patients, just to make sure their vision was okay was the Ishihara Colorblind Test. And so when I saw this tee, designed by Reece Ward, memories of my Master’s Thesis came flooding back.
I love the concept of Love Is Blind and would definitely wear it in a heart beat. It would be so awesome if I was still giving these colorblind tests to patients. It would probably lead to some interesting conversations! You can pick up Love Is Blind by Reece Ward from his RedBubble store for $24.34.

There’s something freakishly cool about this tee from Tim Gough but I’m not sure what it is. Could it be that, what looks like a fur ball/yeti is walking around with one eye! Maybe. In any case, I love this shirt that I spotted at Camisetas Online! More Scared is printed on an American Apparel tee and is available for $22.

This tee is called Wolf In Sheep’s Clothing and it’s the newest tee from Random Objects. Something about this design is so striking. The eyes on this are so haunting that I catch myself staring at them for much longer than I should! The design is cleverly based on an old Aesop fable about a clever wolf who disguises himself as a sheep to stalk its prey. Are you a wolf in sheep’s clothing?
Pick up this tee for $20.00 from Random Objects today. It’s printed on an American Apparel blank and comes with a “mystery random object” and stickers!

A wolf found great difficulty in getting at the sheep owing to the vigilance of the shepherd and his dogs. But one day it found the skin of a sheep that had been flayed and thrown aside, so it put it on over its own pelt and strolled down among the sheep. The Lamb that belonged to the sheep, whose skin the Wolf was wearing, began to follow the Wolf in the Sheep’s clothing; so, leading the Lamb a little apart, he soon made a meal off her, and for some time he succeeded in deceiving the sheep, and enjoying hearty meals. Appearances are deceptive.
