Hey, I love running outside. I love feeling the natural air blog against my face. BUT, if I had access to an exercise bike like the one below then maybe … nah, I’d still prefer running outside! Regardless, this is the perfect shirt for your favorite fitness geek!
Oh no, pirating is bad. It’s so bad. You must never pirate. Only thieves pirate. If so then Arrrrrgggggghhhhh, let’s pillage the Internet and burn this fucker down. I mean, did you really spend $699 for your copy of Adobe Photoshop. Okay, maybe you … oh let’s get real. Arrrrrgggggghhhhh!
“My drawing process for my Glennz Tees shirt designs, I use the pen tool in Adobe Illustrator and draw with a Wacom tablet. If needed, I draw a quick rough on screen first, then convert that to guides to draw my final illustration on top of that. Start to finish 60 mins compressed into 3.” -Glenn Jones
Of rubber boots and old car tires. I wonder how many of these man-made items lurk under the deep blue sea. Our buddy Glenn Jones of Glennz Tees imagines what would happen if those man-made goods turned ocean trash could actually nibble on bait. If they could then maybe we’d have cleaner oceans? Wishful thinking.
It’s Summer Sale Week at one of my favorite online tee shops, Glennz Tees! All T-Shirts are now priced at $13.95 until Midnight Sunday August 7. You save $6 per shirt – that’s an entire beers worth of savings! Since we’re talking about Glennz Tees, I’ve posted a few of Glenn Jones’ more recent illustration videos below.
I’ve been a long time fan of Glennz Tees for some time now, and so I feel quite bad for missing some of his recent T-Shirt releases. Luckily, artist Glenn Jones just released his latest design. Worm Magic features a worm stuck in the core of an apple and then cut in half. What happens? The worm survives the cut – magic! Of course, in real life, this isn’t always the case! Usually, if you cut the worm towards the posterior (the side opposite to that of the head), it will often times grow back the tail. If you make the cut too close to the anterior end (the head) then it will likely die. Now the big question, what happens if you cut the worm in half? A worm cut in half is likely to die!
Worm Magic is available now from Glennz Tees for $19.95.
If you plan to be in Austin, Texas later this month for the annual tech/music/movie extravaganza known as SXSW, then be sure to stop by the Glennz Tees Pop-Up Shop. If I were attending SXSW, I’d totally stop by. In fact, I’ve been meaning to make it out to SXSW for some time now, it seems like an awesome event and something that I would really enjoy, but alas, I just didn’t have the time to make it out this year. Maybe next year? I should have a LOT more time and flexibility this time next year. Plus, I really love the Austin area, it’s got a nice college vibe and awesome bar and BBQ scene. I must make it out to Austin again!

Needless to say, a generic graphic tee from Target just wont cut it, but these products probably will.
The Threadless Book: Special Edition Hardcover with Sketchbook. I’ve mentioned the paperback version of this book numerous times on the blog and have even reviewed a copy. However, the $15 paper back version is no match when compared to the special hardcover edition. The special edition comes in a nifty case that has a soft texture and a burnout illustration on it. The book itself has a cloth-bound hardcover and a bookmark ribbon. On top of that goodness, there’s a satiny hardcover sketchbook, where you can sketch all your billions of tee ideas. Price: $75.00.
Threadless 12 Club Subscription. This will probably earn you a billion brownie points. Any fan of T-Shirts will lust for a Threadless 12 Club Subscription. With this gift comes 12 exclusive T-Shirts, one being sent to the gift recipient every month for 12 months and will only be sent to 12 Club members. Price: $200.

FlipFold. Ultimate T-Shirt fans probably have a ton of stray T-Shirt lying around. Why not help them get organized with the FlipFold. This handy device will help to make the mundane task of folding T-Shirts quick, fun and consistent. Also great for those with OCD. Price: $34.98.
Glennz Accessories. I love Glennz Tees, but they don’t just make T-Shirts. They also make Mousepads, Calendars, and Laptop Skins. These humorous gifts are guaranteed to keep the smiles coming long after the gift is given and opened. Price: $12.95.
Zombie Liquorice Buckle. This belt buckle is definitely not for the squeamish. This item measures 3″ by 4″ and weighs almost half a pound. It was made by a local craftsman, and was not imported. Only 60 were made. Price: $20.00.
Set of 3 Ugmonk Prints. Ugmonk is one of my favorite indie brands. I love the minimalist approach to designer and founder, Jeff Sheldons, work. Price: $60.00.
Olly Moss Prints. Olly Moss is undoubtedly one of my favorite indie artists. His work has been featured numerous times on Threadless as well as The New York Times, The Independent and GQ. Price: $50.00 (Sea Saw), $25 (Now Panic and Freak Out).
Black Rock Collective Playing Card Deck. Every T-Shirt fanatic knows about the Black Rock Collective. If not, well, they’re not serious about T-Shirts. This absolutely desirable deck was lovingly created by 36 artists of the Black Rock Collective. Price: $20.00.
Our pal Glenn Jones from Glennz Tees is holding one his popular sales, which doesn’t happen all that often. So what does this mean? This means that you need to head on over To Glennz Tees, scope out your favorite designs (if you’re a regular reader of this blog then you should have a couple of Glennz Tees already in mind) and add them to your shopping cart because everyone knows that these tees will go fast.
True Story: A couple of months back, Glennz was holding a similar sale. I really wanted Office Chat, but decided that it worth waiting for until the last day of the sale. Wrong move! The shirt was sold out in my size. Bummer! Don’t let this happen to you.
