Forever Weird

I am a big fan of the Seibei line of monster infused T-Shirts and I have to admit that the latest Seibei design had me at hello. The shirt, created by popular tee designer Greg Abbott, features the words Forever Weird incased in a pink pyramid and surrounded by a plethora of Seibei-ish monsters. I remember growing up, I had weird tendencies – but hey, didn’t we all! And it’s because of this reason along that I can definitely relate to this shirt. Forever Weird is available now from Seibei for $22 and remember to use the coupon code “COTY” at checkout for an extra 10% off!

Ctrl Alt Defeat

First off, no, Ctl Alt Defeat is not the name of some emo indie band. It’s actually the name of a new T-Shirt brand by T-Shirt contest regular, Tom Neal. Ctl Alt Defeat is touting itself as a limited edition T-Shirt site. Essentially, they will be printing one design in limited quantities and, when the design sells out, they will go ahead and print the next shirt.

The problem with this particular business model is: what happens if the shirts don’t sell out? And, how limited are the shirts, exactly? In any case, I am interested to see future designs from Ctrl Alt Defeat. T-Shirt designer extraordinaire, Greg Abbott, kicks things off at Ctrl Alt Defeat with Remote. I have to wonder, will this particular design be the look and feel of future Ctrl Alt Defeat designs or will Ctrl Alt Defeat just be a hodge podge of different artist works with no real distinctive look and feel? In any case, you can pick up Remote by Greg Abbott from Ctrl Alt Defeat for £14.99.

Arkaik Clothing Summer Release

The new summer line from Arkaik Clothing is pretty impressive to say the least. They continue to play on the dinosaur theme but have also infused new design elements by having guest artists like Greg Abbott contribute to the line. The new line includes an assortment of different colorways and also features a couple of tank tops and v-necks.

Prices for the new Arkaik Clothing shirts range from $24.99 to $34.99. One thing that I should note is that these tees are super limited. Many of them have a print run of under 20 and I saw one that had a print run of 4. You might also want to try the coupon code”COTY” for an additional 20% off!

El Presidente’s Birthday by Greg Abbott

This weeks ShirtFight winner comes with compliments from designer Greg Abbott. The design is called El Presidente’s Birthday and fittingly so! The ShirtFight theme, was, you guessed it – El Presidente’s Birthday. And if you are a little confused, let me fill in some gaps. El Presidente is one half of the pair that runs ShirtFight and it was his birthday this past week. Greg did a wonderful job at squeezing in a bunch of the things that El Presidente had on his birthday wish list. Congratulations on the win, Greg! You can pick up this weeks winning tee at ShirtFight for the sale price of $15 (it’ll be $21 in a week so buy it now). Also, they’ve got a great interview up with the winning artist, you can check that out here.

If you think you  have the chops to beat out the competition then why not try your hand at this weeks ShirtFight theme: hidden subliminal messages! Check out the video below for all the details that you’ll ever need. This ShirtFight ends on April 9.

Coty’s Thoughts:

Monsters by Greg Abbott and available at Desired Hearts. Good: Incredibly humoungous print on the front, insane character drawings, cut and sew tag element on the bottom left corner with the Desired Hearts logo, tagless label for itch free comfort, super soft fabric and incredible presentation with custom screened box and wrapping paper. An all around super product. Bad: Only down side is the high price tag, but remember, you get a quality product with high production value and 5% of the profits earned from each tee goes to a non-profit organization. Price: $25.00.
