$1300 LED Apple T-Shirt

To say that Domenico Panacea is a MacAddict is probably an understatement. Panacea is an early adopter of a different sort. He spent $1300 just so he can borrow a Philips Lumalive T-Shirt for a month. I know, my eyes bulged just as big when I found out that after forking over $1300 he still did not own the T-Shirt. If you’re not familiar with the Lumalive, it’s from electronics manufacturer, Philips, and it integrates dynamic LED lighting into the fabric of the shirt.

The first thing Panacea did with the shirt? Well, he programed his favorite brand into the tee. What else do you think he’d do with a $1300 borrowed shirt? Of course you’re gonna program an Apple logo into it!

And in case you’re wondering, the shirt comes stocked with 128MB of memory that can blink out 10 minutes of text and it can glow for four hours at a time before needing to be recharged. I wonder when version 2.0 will be released?

Pyrotechnic Display at Celebrations

Complicated name, I know, but you can call them P.D.A.C. for short! Them would be in reference to Amber Vittoria, a college student from Boston with a flare for light. Light? Yeah, as in light from fireworks, sparklers, flashlights. Without light, our world would be one boring and place to live in. P.D.A.C is all about photographing light and then deconstructing it to see the wonderful, exclusive designs that can be extracted from it.

Their first shirt is based off of a photograph of a firework, the cropping revealed the beauty of not only the light’s shape the the shape of the absence of light surrounding it. I think it looks stunning. The shirt is available for purchase as a unisex V-neck and is priced at $35.

P.D.A.C. currently has just this shirt available for sale, but, I can’t wait to see what else they have in store for us.
