Get Some Valentine’s Day Love from Lil’ LoveDriven

I featured Lil’ loveDriven a few weeks ago because their pair driven T-Shirt design, Two Peas In A Pod. That particular T-Shirt combo caught my fancy, and was simply too damn cute! Given that Lil’ LoveDriven is in the business of making tees for both the romantics and hopeful romantics amongst us, it’s no surprise that they’ve got a special line of tees celebrating the day of love making – Valentine’s Day! You can even score the tees in some pretty snazzy packaging. No doubt that your loved one might be sick of chocolate, so why not get him/her some Lil’ LoveDriven instead? Valentines Day packages are available for an extra $9.99 or $5.99 charge and you need to order by February 7, 2011 to ensure delivery by Valentine’s Day.

I also love posting photos of brick and mortars and little pop up shops, so I was pretty stoked to hear that Lil’ LoveDriven has taken things to the next level by opening up a little Lil’ LoveDriven kiosk at a local mall. Check out the photos to see their setup! Thanks Gerald for sending over the photos!

Two Peas … In A Pod

Know someone that you just can’t stay away from? Well, this is just the shirt for you! Two Peas In A Pod is a pair of teas from Lil’ LoveDriven that will appeal to anyone who appreciates all things cute. But seriously, if you don’t thing this T-Shirt is cute then something must be wrong with you. Think of all the possibilities, you could wear this T-Shirt when you and your significant other:

  1. Go shopping together
  2. Watch a sports game together
  3. Go Jogging together
  4. Eat together
  5. Watch a movie together

You get the idea, right? This T-Shirt is pretty much perfect anytime you and yours do something together. Well, in theory it is. I’m not so sure how great of an idea it would be in practice. Maybe the first couple of times, at the very least! Still, that doesn’t take away from the cute factor!

Two Peas In A Pod is available now from Lil’ LoveDriven for $24.99. You choose both a male and female sized T-Shirt and you receive both with your order!

Love Your Work. Work Your Love.

There really isn’t any reason for you to do something that you don’t love. If you don’t love what you do then why do it? For money, you say? We’ll that’s a pretty bad reason. Your work should be about passion and it should be about love. If you’re not passionate about what you do then it’s inevitable that you’ll be miserable doing it. But the best part about working at what you’re passionate about is that it is almost guaranteed that magic will happen in one way or another.

The latest tee from Holiday Matinee is the epitome of this. Love Your Work. Work Your Love. There’s nothing else to say other than you can pick up this tee from Holiday Matinee now for $22. Do it.

The Friendship Algorithm Flowchart

Infographics are all the rage on the Internet, but no one does it better than Dr. Sheldon Cooper of the Big Bang Theory.

It’s not surprising that when Sheldon from The Big Bang Theory decides he needs a new friend (Bawwy Kwipke, because of his wole with the Open Science Gwid Computew), he approaches the problem scientifically. Because we all occasionally need a little help doing that, we’ve reproduced his flowchart on this shirt. Unfortunately, it’s difficult to follow the arrows when you’re wearing it so you either need to convince an extant friend to wear this shirt with you (which can lead to awkward questions) or rig a series of mirrors. We recommend the mirrors. It involves fewer humans.

The Friendship Algorithm Flowchart T-Shirt is available now from ThinkGeek for $17.99.

Philadelphia/San Francisco Day 4

Day 4 T-Shirt of Choice: Love Your Fellow As Yourself by schmoo

Unlike yesterday, Day 4 started off with a nice chunk of sunshine. That was a relief. We were able to do a few of the things that we missed out on yesterday when it was pouring cats and dogs. The day started by walking to City Hall, which is located just a few blocks from the Loews Hotel. We signed up for the tower tour and went to the top of the City Hall clock tower, just below the large William Penn statue that overlooks the City of Philadelphia.

LOVE Sculpture Philadelphi

After taking a few pics from the top of City Hall, we walked over to Love Park, where Robert Indiana’s iconic LOVE sculpture stands. We took a gazillion photos and then moved on to the Comcast Center. The Comcast Center has a neat (and very huge) HD video wall, with short videos playing throughout the day. Below the lobby you’ll find a small market. We made a pit stop there, where I picked up a drink and a small croissant. The croissant served as a warmup to our Pat’s and Geno’s pilgrimage.

Geno's Steaks

Pat's

(Top: Genos is all glitz and glamour but lacking in the taste department. Bottom: Pat’s, good but not as good as Jim’s Steaks)

My frist experience with a Philly Cheesesteak came to me at Jim’s Steaks. After that first cheesesteak, my mind was blown and I was ready to experience the much hyped Pat’s and Geno’s variety. We caught a taxi from the Loews Hotel to the Cheesesteak mecca of the world. For the uninitiated, Pat’s and Geno’s are located right across of each other and are considered rival cheesesteak stands. So of course, we had to experience both Pat’s and Geno’s. Pat’s was alright, and Geno’s felt a bit too generic (though, their fries were good). My conclusion, Jim’s Steaks dominates both Pat’s and Geno’s. If you want a Philly Cheesesteak, then know this: Jim’s Steaks is the center of the universe.

Despite the disappointing Pat’s and Geno’s experience, dinner more than made up for it! In our attempt to hit up the restaurants of all of the Iron Chefs, we just had to experience the newest Iron Chef Jose Garcia’s restaurant, Amada. Garcia’s Amada specializes in authentic Spanish Tapas. We settled on three different dishes, the LECHÓN CON QUESO (Braised Pork Shoulder, La Peral, Pine Nut, Apple & Fennel), ENTRECÔTE A LA CATALAN (Prime Sirloin with Catalán Spinach, Membrillo & Goat Cheese), and the ARROZ DE LANGOSTA (Lobster Bomba Rice with Clams, Lemon Zest & Golden Pea Shoots). The dishes were nicely proportioned, and, more importantly, tasted oh so good.

Amada

We decided to pass on dessert at Amada and opted instead to get some ice cream at the famed Franklin Fountain. This old school ice cream fountain is like a time warp, as evidenced by the decor and the staff who were dressed as if it was the 1920′s. You might recall that Adam Richman of Man Vs. Food had the Mt. Visuvious here. I decided on the Franklin Mint and Michelle had the Banana Split For My Baby. Both were very indulgent choices. We honestly should have shared one, but, I was intent on mint ice cream. Needless to say, we tried as hard as we could, but in the end, neither of us ate more than half of our ice cream dishes.

And as I’ve been doing, here’s a video slideshow of some of the photos that we took during this lovely day in Philly!

Self Portrait + Tree Buddies

Hot off the Milk & Eggs production line are two new tees, Tree Buddies and Self Portrait. Both are two excellent additions to the Milk & Eggs Co. line and retain the simple and fun  look and feel that I appreciate so much. My favorite from the two is Self Portrait because I often find myself in the peculiar position featured on the shirt. And I am not sure if it was intentional or not but I love how the camera looks as if it’s smiling. Do you see it? It’s winking at you.

Both Self Portrait and Tree Buddies are available now from Milk & Eggs Co. for $18 but be sure to use the coupon code “COTY” at checkout and save 10% off of your entire order! The T-Shirts are printed on American Apparel blanks and feature an embroidered tag on the left sleeve.

Let me warn you beforehand that Episode 32 of Co-Tee TV is one fun episode! It ended up being very long as well, maybe because I can talk hours at a time about Apple products. And because of that I was very excited to review Slide To Unlock from Milk & Eggs Co. because the shirt is based on a device I could probably not live without – my iPhone! Hope you enjoy this episode, just one more day (and video) left until this week over!

Coty’s Thoughts:

Slide To Unlock by Milk & Eggs Co.. Pros: I absolutely adore this shirt and think the concept is brilliant. The shirt itself is printed on an American Apparel blank which is always a plus in terms of quality. I think any iPhone user would enjoy this shirt, it would make for a perfect gift! Custom hangtags add a professional touch and the added goodies in the package like the Milk & Eggs buttons and stickers are an awesome bonus. Cons: I have no complaints when it comes to this shirt. Price: $20.
