I don’t think that I’ve ever posted a Queen Amidala T-Shirt on this blog before. That might be because my readership consists of 95% men. At least that’s what Analytics tell me. In any case, here’s a regal red and gold T-Shirt from Her Universe. In truth, I actually like the model and the model’s makeup slightly more than the T-Shirt itself.
If Tom Cruise were a Wookie then this is what he would look like. I’m serious. This is the T-Shirt to get for any hardcore Star Wars fan. Or hipster. You choose. I just have to say one more thing. This T-Shirt bleeds cool. Yes, it does.
I’m surprised that no one thought of this sooner. Brilliant idea! It’s the perfect pre-Christmas gift for any Star Wars fan. I’m sure that they will wear it with much pride.
Calm You Shall Keep and Carry On You Must. Favorite of mine this T-Shirt must be. Yes, Hmmmm.
Originally for sale on RIPT a few days ago for only 24 hours, it has found new life on RedBubble. You can customize it and have the design printed on a variety of different color T-Shirts. Keep Calm You Will is available now from RedBubble for $$24.54 .
Yup, Steve Jobs is definitely frozen in carbonite in this very awesome iPhone case by Society 6 member Greg Koenig. And if you’re not sure what this iPhone case is referencing, then you’ve got some movie watching to do. long time ago, in a galaxy far far away … a man named George Lucas made an awesome movie called Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back. If you haven’t seen it then you might as well slap yourself now.
It’s been a while since I’ve given A Better Tomorrow some love, way too long in my opinion! But I couldn’t deny this T-Shirt it’s moment in the spotlight. Everybody Wants Some by Andre Grünhoff features our favorite furry creature, Chewbacca. It almost looks as if it’s a play on Where the Wild Things Are. I’m not too sure why I feel that way, maybe it has something to do with the typography. Either way, Chewbacca is awesome here. He looks triumphant and regal at the very same time. You go, Chewie.
Glenn Jones consistently pumps out awesome tee and this one is no different. This one is called Good v. Evil and is an obvious homage to Star Wars. It’s printed on an asphalt American Apparel tee and is available now for $19.95.
“The annual Good v Evil game is watched throughout the universe. Who will prevail when opposites collide? There’s personal battles all over the park and it’s hard to separate them as the force is strong! This design attracted a huge amount of votes in a short time so it was time to print!” – Glenn Jones
This is an interesting Star Wars inspired tee by Cloxboy titled Farewell To Arms. It’s obviously poking fun at the uncanny number of limbs lost throughout the 6 Star Wars films. Now here’s a stat for you, in the Star Wars films, 9 hands get chopped off. Let’s see, Anakin loses both hands, and so does Count Dooku. And Darth Vader, Grievous, The Wampa of Hoth, Mace Windu and Luke Skywalker each lost a hand while Ponda Baba had his hand cut off by Obi-Wan.
Farewell To Arms is printed on a silver American Apparel tee and is available now for purchase for 17 buckaroos. Go pick one up now to wear at your next Star Wars movie night.Â
Aled Lewis, also known as fatheed in the creative circles, has been doing an excellent job in promoting his Foam Monster. Lewis’ Foam Monster In Emotional Reunion With Severed Limb is one of the twenty Design of the Year finalists in this year Threadless Bestees Awards.Â
Lewis has designed a couple of very fun designs, each of which could be a tee design of their own, based on his original Foam Monster submission. My favorite has got to be the Star Wars parody, Foam Monster In Difficult Encounter With Estranged Father! These are so good, so much so that the Threadless crowd (well, the guys that hang out in the forums, at least) are having a blast with these.Â
Will it be enough to push Foam Monster over the Top? The last day to vote is tomorrow (January 26) and the winners will be announced on February 2. Be sure to get your vote in!
