Worm Magic

I’ve been a long time fan of Glennz Tees for some time now, and so I feel quite bad for missing some of his recent T-Shirt releases. Luckily, artist Glenn Jones just released his latest design. Worm Magic features a worm stuck in the core of an apple and then cut in half. What happens? The worm survives the cut – magic! Of course, in real life, this isn’t always the case! Usually, if you cut the worm towards the posterior (the side opposite to that of the head), it will often times grow back the tail. If you make the cut too close to the anterior end (the head) then it will likely die. Now the big question, what happens if you cut the worm in half? A worm cut in half is likely to die!

Worm Magic is available now from Glennz Tees for $19.95.

Robot Unicorn: Chase Your Dreams

Robot Unicorn might be the greatest iPhone game that I’ve never played (up until now that is). Forget Angry Birds, if you haven’t tried out Robot Unicorn, you MUST stop everything, head over to the Apple App Store and download this magical game. It’s a life changer.

And once your life has been changed, you can buy the official Robot Unicorn T-Shirt from Adult Swim for $18. It comes in both black, and of course, unicorn purple.

Chase Your Dreams fellow T-Shirt lovers.

MIles To Go X Craig Robson + Moby Dick

Our friend Greg from Miles To Go has been quite busy since the last time we featured his T-Shirts on the site. In fact, Miles To Go just released two new tees by Miles To Go artist favorite, Craig Robson. Both Truth & Reason and Tick Tock, Alice were design by Robson and were inspired by Oscar Wilde and the Mad Hatter, respectively. Both shirts are available now at Miles To Go Clothing for $22.99.

While I was checking out the new Craig Robson design tees, I also spotted an amazing Moby Dick inspired T-Shirt. Moby Dick is printed using discharge ink on a Tri-Blend American Apparel tee, which I can say from experience is super soft and comfortable.

“All men live enveloped in whale-lines. All are born with halters round their necks; but it is only when caught in the swift, sudden turn of death, that mortals realize the silent, subtle, ever present perils of life.” – Herman Melville

Monsieur Eureka Is Back

It’s always difficult to write about Monsieur Eureka because their site, Facebook and 50% of their Twitter page is in French! Regardless, they just just released an amazing collection of fun, colorful and vibrant T-Shirts featuring illustrations that make for some very good eye candy. If you enjoyed the past offering from this Montreal based indie brand, then you’ll enjoy the latest releases, because like before, the prints are very large and the designs are just as wacky.

I definitely love the Monsieur Eureka theme of crazy inventions and kooky potions. My favorite new shirt from the Monsieur Eureka collection has got to Chasse-Larmes (it’s the blue tee below) and the product description is equally as good:

“Pissed to be sad all the time? Just spray one shot in each eye and you’re ready to live a happy life again! Just don’t ask what’s inside this concoction..and you’ll be ok!”

The new Monsieur Eureka tees are available now and are priced at $25 a piece. Go grab some!

TypeTees Slogan-A-Day Experiment Week 7

Every day I come up with a new witty Threadless TypeTees Slogan in hopes of earning a place amongst the Threadless wordplay elite. At the end of every week I post a round up of that weeks slogans here on my blog. What can you do to help the cause? Vote! Just click on a slogan (preferably all of them) and then vote by click “I’d Wear It!” – it’s that simple! If you want to see and vote for all of my slogans then just click here or on that photo of me with the Rockband guitar. Vote for me and I will bake you an amazing tray of double chocolate chip cookies if ever we meet in real life.

TypeTees Slogan-A-Day Experiment

Week 7 (February 12, 2010 to February 18, 2010):

If bridges were indestructible, would you still burn them?

Listen to me, youngsters, it’s never a good thing to burn bridges. Never.

I know just enough to be confused.

This was a slogan suggestion from a friend of mine. He seems to be having a “difficult” time with science these days. And so this slogans fits his situation perfectly! But I can definitely relate, hah!

Hallucinations are ok if you’ve got an imaginary friend nearby.

If you’re gonna suffer from hallucinations then why not suffer with a friend nearby – even if it’s an imaginary friend. Who cares at this point!

If baseball is America’s pastime then what’s wiffleball?

Who here plays wiffleball? I never have. Does that make me less of a man?

Science is magical.

Oh good God science is magical. Wow, science, magic and God all in once sentence. Amazing. Hmmm, maybe that should’ve been the slogan instead!

The truth should never be harder than hunting for unicorn.

Because, well, we should always tell the truth ;)

Teleporters will one day deem email obsolete.

At least those Trekkies hope so!

Handlebar Hold Up + Sleight of Hare

One of my favorite indie brands, Fuzzy Ink, has released two new tees to add to their unique line of mustache inspired T-Shirts. The first shirt, appropriately titled Handlebar Hold Up, features an incredibly enormous … you guessed it … mustache! This might be the most prominently placed mustache ever seen on a Fuzzy Ink tee.

Sleight of Hare is admittedly a hilarious design, one where the hare steals the show from the magician (and takes his mustache with hime!). I wish I had a rabbit that could do tricks like that. I used to have rabbits, believe it or not. And they both lived very long lives – a little over 10 years. Do rabbits normally live that long?

You can pick up both shirts from Fuzzy Ink for $18.95 and they are both available in mens and womens sizes. Use the coupon code “Hawaii” for 10% off your entire Fuzzy Ink order!
