I actually found these Hello Kitty shirts to be pretty cute! Almost as cute as Gene Simmon’s twelve inch, ummm, tongue. With that said, these shirts, available exclusively at WeLoveFine, are damn adorable. I see that Miss Kitty has really been promiscuous as of late. Not only is she at Target and my corner grocery market (I’m not even kidding, check the candy aisle), but she’s also been caught on Johnny Cupcakes tees and now on WeLoveFine. That damn pussy cat needs to control herself.
“It’s time to rock ‘n’ roll all night, and kawaii every day!: The first six designs in the Hello Kitty x KISS Collection are now available online exclusively at WeLoveFine.com! It has been over 50 years that Sanrio has delighted the world with an assorted cast of adorable characters, though for decades Hello Kitty has held strong as the most popular and enduring character of all. Meanwhile, we are just shy of the 40th anniversary of KISS’s debut album; the heavy metal heroes have commanded one of the most dedicated fan bases in the history of rock with the KISS Army, and continue to amass more fans as time goes on. The unexpected match of cute and cool sensibilities makes for an amazing visual flair in the Hello Kitty x KISS collection – a co-branded license collaboration, making these products both official Sanrio and KISS merchandise! Plus, the one thing which both Hello Kitty and KISS fans unquestionably have in common is their passion for collecting all manner of awesome memorabilia featuring their favorites; with a variety of designs up now and more to come, WeLoveFine anticipates that this apparel line will be an must-have with collectors in both fan groups!”
Joulethief put together an awesome mock Where’s Waldo movie trailer featuring a Jason Bourne like Where’s Waldo. Pretty nifty! Of course, if you enjoyed that trailer than you’ll absolutely adore We Got Him by Nicholas Roberts.
The last time I blogged about Old Navy I was a bit of a grammar Nazi. But we’ll let the past be the past. I’ve long been a fan of Old Navy. I think I bought my first pair of Old Navy jeans in the seventh grade. I’ve upgraded to Levi’s since then, but I still love a good pair of Old Navy shorts and Old Navy and GAP solid color tees have long been a part of my wardrobe arsenal. Now it looks like they’ve upgraded their basic tee to the new Old Navy Best-Tee (I wonder if Threadless will get mad). The best part is they’ve got Mr. T to promote it.
Universe famous actor Mr. T and world renowned Old Navy have teamed up in this brand new infomercial, not yet released to the public. Mr. T’s bestie, dazzling actress Anna Farris, was having major tee troubles. Luckily, it’s Best-Tee to the rescue!
The new Old Navy Best-Tee has been totally reinvented to be the greatest, softest, best-fitting t-shirt in the history of everything. Don’t believe us? Well, think again. Check out these infomercials we made explaining why:
I love these mock informercials! They’re sort of a mashup of those silly Old Spice Man commercials and Threadless’ Ten Buck Tony. Mr. T is awesome as always. Side note: why is it that Mr. T doesn’t seem to age? Anna Farris is actually quite funny in these commercials as well. They picked the best comedian to show off the curve enhancing new Best-Tee.
This is an obvious attempt at Old Navy trying to go viral through the use of social media. The commercials have only been online for 5 days and they already have over 100,000 views each. In comparison, one of Old Spice Man’s videos on YouTube has a staggering 40 million views. Let’s see if Old Nave can achieve THAT kind of online notoriety!
Growing up I was a huge Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles fan. Don’ believe me? Read this. So I love the Turtles and I love wearing Mona Lisa tees. I’ve got a few Mona Lisa tees and I feel like THIS T-Shirt from Snorg Tees is a MUST. It’s called Leonardo but I’d like to rename it Teenage Mutant Ninja Mona Lisa. Cowabunga!
It’s been a very long time since I’ve posted a T-Shirt from our friends at Go Ape Shirts (Hi Josh!). Their latest creation is buzz worthy because it’s a one of those video game parody T-Shirts that you just have to have. And if you’re like me and grew up in the 80′s playing Super Mario Bros then you will LOVE this T-Shirt. The shirt was designed by Austin, Texas based graphic designer, bortwein. It features a fictional van that Mario and Luigi may have used in some alternate Nintendo universe. It’s great. And that product shot, are you kidding me, it’s so awesome!
This is an AWESOME T-Shirt! It’s from Shirt.Woot and was designed by Nathan W. Pyle. The design is simply called The Dark Knight, but it could have easily been called The Dark Knight Light! I think that would have been a much more witty name. This Batman glows in the dark!
If you want this one you better cop it now, it won’t be around for long, like mos other Shirt.Woot T-Shirts. You’re lucky that it’s even still available. The Dark Knight is available now from Shirt.Woot for $15.
Calm You Shall Keep and Carry On You Must. Favorite of mine this T-Shirt must be. Yes, Hmmmm.
Originally for sale on RIPT a few days ago for only 24 hours, it has found new life on RedBubble. You can customize it and have the design printed on a variety of different color T-Shirts. Keep Calm You Will is available now from RedBubble for $$24.54 .
Looking to dress up your wall with some fresh new artwork? If so, check out the latest release from our friends at Dance Party Massacre. They’ve just released silkscreened versions of some of their best-selling designs. They are silkscreened on 100lb, acid-free, archival paper. They’re perfect for framing in your office, man den, or new dorm room. The posters are available now from the Dance Party Massacre online shop and they range in price from $9.95 to $16.95.
For all of the confused hipsters in the world, this is the T-Shirt for you. And by confused I mean those of you that aren’t too sure exactly what kind of hipster you are. This periodic table of hipsters has got you covered!
Do you often have difficulty categorizing or describing yourself and your hipper-than-thou friends? Do you sometimes find yourself wishing you had a handy cheat-sheet on hand whenever you’re down at (insert local indie bar here) catching the latest Pitchfork-approved flavor of the day before they sell out and sign to a major? Never fear: brush out your ironic mullet, put on your vintage horn-rims, pull on your favorite pair of skinny jeans, and throw on this Periodic Table of Hipsters t-shirt to ensure that you always have the reference you need at your disposal.
This is one of those parodies that make no sense. No sense at all. The shirt is called The Empire Strikes Back To The Future and other than the fact that both are iconic science fiction movies, I just don’t see the connection between Luke Skywalker, Darth Vader, Marty McFly’s Hover Board and Doc Brown’s DeLorean DMC-12.
BUT it is a good reason for me to share with you an awesome video featuring Michael J. Fox as Marty McFly, albeit an older and more mature Marty McFly. This video seriously made my day.
The video is a promotional ad for Spike TV’s 2010 Scream Awards, the event that honors the best in Fantasy, Sci-Fi, Comics and Horror. The cast of the famous 80′s time traveling flick will be reuniting at the Scream Awards to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the classic.
Oh, and if you want the shirt you can pick it up from TShirt Laundry for $16.
