Dale Edwin Murray has been a mainstay in the indie T-Shirt scene for some time now, so it wasn’t a surprise when I had found out that he recently opened his own online T-Shirt shop. Bananas Tees is Murray’s foray into T-Shirt independence.
Murray is probably best known for his iconic Threadless design, Music Business Remastered. Despite his Threadless success, Murray has won nearly every T-Shirt design contest online, including Tilteed, A Better Tomorrow, Chimpogo, and Shirt.Woot. Yes, he does get around!
The first batch of T-Shirt from Bananas Tees include 5 designs that feature the illustration prowess of Murray. My favorite from the bunch is definitely High 5 – it’s a simple idea that works flawlessly.
Each of the T-Shirts are priced at £15.0, which is about $23.50 US. Go buy some now at Bananas Tees!

Our good friends over at Milk & Eggs Co. has just released a slew of new tees to the world, six to be exact! They continue the Milk & Eggs Co. tradition by delivering simple yet effective, and of course super fun designs. With the exception of Bat Tie, they make use of some very bright and bold color combinations, which I am definitely a fan of. My two favorites have got to be the shield-like Pencil Corps design and the very unusual Us & Them design.
For me, each of these T-Shirts are like a page from a story book filled with great illustrations. The main appeal of Milk & Eggs Co. designs to me is that I always want to know the story behind each illustration. Us & Them sounds like an awesome childhood book filled with big and hairy (albeit friendly) monsters. Pencil Corps sounds as if it’s the story of a militia of children armed only with pencils and their imagination.
If you share my enthusiasm for Milk & Eggs Co. then  please head on over to their shop and pick up a tee or two. The shirts are priced between $19 – $22 and are printed on American Apparel blanks.

One of my favorite new indie tee brands, Milk & Eggs Co., recently released 5 new tees and I am in love with Draw Your Own Way. In the world of fancy all-over-prints, I breath a sigh of relief whenever I see tees like these: simple, minimal colors, and powerful without being overbearing. If you know someone that likes to trace other peoples work then pick this tee up for them (or at least send them a link) and then kick them in the shin.
Draw Your Own Way is available now from Milk & Eggs Co. for $18, go pick one up today!
