New 604Republic Posters: Game of Thrones, Donnie Darko, and Procrastination

Posters are always cool and the new posters from 604Republic are uber cool. They’re especially cool if you’re a geek. Are you a geek? If you’re a geek then you’ve probably read the fictional work of George R.R. Martin. His A Song of Ice and Fire novels take place in several divided continents. Most of the story takes place on the continent Westeros, but of course, if you’re a geek then you would know that.

They’ve also got two other posters, one of which is an homage to Donnie Darko and that freaky bunny, Frank. Now, I know this might be a very, very, very bad thing….but…I’ve honestly never been able to sit through Donnie Darko. I tried twice. I’ve fallen asleep both times.

All three posters are 12.5″ x 18.5″ (inch) full-color poster priced at $6.95 and available now from 604Republic.

Follow The White Rabbit

Follow is a great little gem that I discovered while perusing The Orphan’s Arms online shop. This London based purveyor of T-Shirts hand prints each item. I’ve always been interested in the work of people that hand print items, one at a time and often in their own studio or even garage. With hand printed items, no two T-Shirts are ever the same. But even better, hand printed shirts simply oooze love, passion and dedication that you don’t get from T-Shirts printed on a five-color machine press with robotic arms in some warehouse in Austin, Texas.

Sometimes, elbow grease make a T-Shirt that much better.

Follow is available now from The Orphan’s Arm for £32.

The Mysterious Mr. Vegan Hunter

Our old friend Jon Wye has just released his newest T-Shirt which is part of his Pirate Chef series. The shirt is called The Mysterious Mr. Vegan Hunter and it features a fatherly rabbit who is relaxing in his rabbit-hole study, reminiscing on his days of great harvesting. He is even taking a little time to enjoy a good vintage of carrot juice whilst polishing his most trusted shovel.

I think the shirt features a super fun design that would have probably gone very well with the Threadless crowd if it had been submitted there. You’ll also find the Pirate Chef logo printed on the back of the T-Shirt.

The Mysterious Mr. Vegan Hunter is printed on a super soft 100% combed cotton Olive T-Shirt and is available now from Jon Wye for $29. For extra savings, use the coupon code “5up” for $5 off your entire order!

Beautiful/Decay Summer 2009

My favorite art and culture magazine, Beautiful/Decay, recently released their summer 2009 apparel line and to no surprise they’ve got some pretty fancy stuff! And why not, they only work with the best artist from around the world. Artists that worked on this summer series include: Sakke Soini, Gunsho, and Dekore (just to name a few). The tees are priced at $29.95, which is not bad considering you’ll be walking around with a piece of fine art strapped to your chest.
