Another great T-Shirt from our friends at Random Objects. As you may already know, Random Objects hand picks quotes and transform them into marvelously designed T-Shirts. We Are The Architects of Our Own Future is no different. This shirt should speak to us all. It is cry for us to reach out and achieve whatever it is that we want to achieve. To never second guess. To never accept failure. To always find a way.
“Every man is the architect of his own fortune.” -Sir Francis Bacon
Like the quote says, we are responsible for creating the kind of future we wish to have. Basically you can [and will] be a success because of the actions, effort, and decisions that you make. So think deeply about what you want, and plan the next step(s) you should take wisely and diligently like an architect does. Keep building – not just today, but everyday!
Fresh off of their Co-Tee TV Episode #75 feature, our friends at Random Objects decided to release a new tee! The shirt is aptly named What Goes Around Comes Around – and for good reason. Design wise, it just makes sense. The tee is minimal and to the point, both qualities that I really dig when looking for new T-Shirts to feature.
Some people call it Karma, while others say “You reap what you sow”. Either way, your actions inevitably lead to positive or negative consequences. So why not try and say and do positive things for yourself and others. This will benefit you in more ways than you could ever image. Or you could choose to do malicious and harmful things. Just remember “What goes around, comes around.”
In this episode of Co-Tee TV I wear FFB Raglan by Fur Face Boy and review Random Objects by Random Objects, a New York based brand that draws inspiration from quotes and proverbs. PS: This episode was supposed to be uploaded a while back, so some of the things that I talk about might seem … a bit dated
“Quotes and proverbs inspire all of our designs here at RANDOM OBJECTS. They are the common theme that run throughout all of our t-shirts and products. We take these various quotes and proverbs and interpret them visually. Sometimes the quote [proverb or saying] itself is the graphic; while at other times, they inspire us to design a graphic based around its’ meaning.”
Fur Face Boy sent me an insane amount of T-Shirts from their Series 3 Line. I will be featuring the shirts throughout Co-Tee TV Episodes 70-79 so definitely keep an eye out for even more Fur Face Boy in the coming weeks! See Episode 70 of Co-Tee TV for the Fur Face Boy full review.

Coty’s Thoughts:
Origami Pigeon by Random Objects.Pros: I love the fact the brand is called Random Objects and that every shirt comes packaged with a … random object! My random objects was a pair of black pencils packaged in chop stick sleeves. So cool! The shirt itself featured the standard American Apparel white blank, which was comfy as always. The T-Shirt comes packaged in a clear plastic bag, which is a nice touch especially when the shirt is being shipped cross country. The T-Shirt is tagless and features a very large screen printed neck label instead. The T-Shirt graphic is awesome (i’ve always loved this design) and the print itself is quite soft. Cons: The only thing that I didn’t care for was the small Random Objects print right below the graphic on the front of the shirt. I the design could have gone without that. Price: $20 but use coupon code RANDOMOBJ at checkout for an extra 10% off your entire order.
“Pigeons are probably the most courageous birds in the world! They will walk through crowded city streets without fear, and will trot in front of oncoming traffic without hesitation. They’re everywhere… even on your shirt!”
That’s me in front of Katz’s in New York City, home of the greatest Pastrami sandwich and Meg Ryan’s infamous and very loud orgasm (Confused? Watch When Harry Met Sally).
Great cupcakes are to be had at Butter Lane! As suggested by long time Co-Tee TV viewer, Carlos J. EasyBake of Oven Fresh Dreams.
FFB Raglan by Fur Face Boy.Pros: Another excellent product from our friends at Fur Face Boy, this time, a Raglan tee. I’m a big fan of baseball style cut T-Shirts and so the FFB Raglan was a pleasant surprise in a box that was filled with FFB T-Shirts. My favorite part about this shirt is that it features the number 81, which coincidently, was the year that I was born. There are only a few left so be sure to grab them while you still can. Price: $34.
Check me reppin’ the Fur Face Boy on the Brooklyn Bridge!
PS: I did get to try out both Grimaldi’s and Lombardi’s Pizza. Grimaldi’s FTW!
The mantra on this T-Shirt is definitely one to live by. As the renown Australian physical therapist, Elizabeth Kenny, once put it, “It is better to be a lion for a day than a sheep all your life.” Be the master of your own domain. Don’t hide, be yourself. Let the world hear your inner roar and kick those sheep bleats to the curb [As a side note, did you know that "bleat is the proper verb that you should use when describing the sound that a sheep makes].
Random Objects delivers yet another solid tee. And if you’re keeping tabs, this is the second sheep reference made on a Random Objects tee and the fourth animal themed Random Objects shirt. Pretty random stat for you that I thought I’d throw out.
“Why go through life just following the herd when you can be as daring and bold as a lion. Sure it is easier to be like the majority of people and be told what to think and do, but to think for oneself takes courage. Stop following the flock and be a lion!”
Lion For A Day is printed on an American Apparel 2001 shirt and is available now from Random Objects for $20 but you can save 10% off your entire order by sing the code “RANDOMOBJ” at checkout.
The newest tee from Random Objects is very creepy (in a subtle way). I am not the biggest cat fan and I am not sure where my lack of interest in felines originate. But let me tell you, cats and I do not get along. They creep me out, much like this shirt! I think it’s a combination of the fur and the overall stealthness in which they walk around. Very mysterious animals I tell you.
If cats are your thing, or even if you’re into overall creepiness then you might want to check out The Watcher from Random Objects. It’s printed on a 3/4 sleeve polly-cotton American Apparel blank and is available now for $26.
This tee is called Wolf In Sheep’s Clothing and it’s the newest tee from Random Objects. Something about this design is so striking. The eyes on this are so haunting that I catch myself staring at them for much longer than I should! The design is cleverly based on an old Aesop fable about a clever wolf who disguises himself as a sheep to stalk its prey. Are you a wolf in sheep’s clothing?Â
Pick up this tee for $20.00 from Random Objects today. It’s printed on an American Apparel blank and comes with a “mystery random object” and stickers!Â
A wolf found great difficulty in getting at the sheep owing to the vigilance of the shepherd and his dogs. But one day it found the skin of a sheep that had been flayed and thrown aside, so it put it on over its own pelt and strolled down among the sheep. The Lamb that belonged to the sheep, whose skin the Wolf was wearing, began to follow the Wolf in the Sheep’s clothing; so, leading the Lamb a little apart, he soon made a meal off her, and for some time he succeeded in deceiving the sheep, and enjoying hearty meals. Appearances are deceptive.
