It took three bus transfers, but we got there. On our way there we visited Golden Gate Park which included the Japanese Tea Garden and the de Young Art Museum, then we headed to the Legion of Honor. It’s a good thing we didn’t follow the original plan and walk from Golden Gate Park to the Legion of Honor because that would have been an unbearable trek!
The Golden Gate Bridge was interesting, to say the least. Talk about grid lock traffic! Because of a head on collision, all cars on the bridge were not moving. People even turned their engines off, came out of their cars and enjoyed the view. And the view was indeed awesome. The structure itself is incredible. Huge is an understatement. It was definitely worth the trouble finding our way there!Â
