This is cool. I think I might spend some Street Team points to get this sucka!
“Our roomiest backpack yet has a front pouch and interior laptop sleeve that holds a 15-inch laptop. Constructed from nylon cordura. Padded back and straps. 18 inches tall, 12.5 inches wide, and 9.5 inches deep including front pocket. Custom made in Chicago at Bearse USA. Just 250 available, so grab one fast!”
In 10 days, Threadless received 194 different backpack submissions and the community chose Eric Zelinski’s Space & Sky as the winning design. Only 250 of these limited edition backbacks will be created.
The $85.50 pre-sale price is available until 8/20 as the backpacks are being produced. Make sure to get yours before all 250 are gone.
UPDATE: I bought it (actually, “bought” is a stretch considering I have seemingly infinite Street Team points, LOL).

I’m not sure why, but whenever I need to spell the word “astronaut” I always initially want to spell it “astronaught.” Maybe I eat too much doughnuts? Wait, it’s donut. Shit. Anyway, this awesome tee by Katie Campbell is the perfect shirt for anyone with aspirations of exploring space or maybe just need, well, more space.
Never Date an Astronaut is available now from Threadless for $20.

Yesterday, a photo of Beth and Jesse Palma began spreading across the Internet. It’s no ordinary photo since it is a wedding photo, but then again, it’s no ordinary wedding photo. The couple, who incidentally are both employees of NASA, had the opportunity to take a few wedding photos next to the Discovery Space Shuttle. How awesome is that? Pretty damn awesome.

Someone should totally gift them both the latest T-Shirt from the Chop Shop. It’s called Beyond Earth and features 23 historic space missions. Something tells me that they’d both appreciate this shirt and probably be able to name each of the 23 space missions referenced on the T-Shirt.
Beyond Earth is available now from Chop Shop for $22 but you can save 15% by using the coupon code “cotygun” at checkout. As a bonus, $5 of each order will be donated to the The Planetary Society. See below for details.
“If you buy a copy we will donate $5 of every purchase to The Planetary Society. The world’s largest space-interest group dedicated to inspiring the public with the adventure and mystery of space exploration. A non-governmental organization founded in 1980, who among its founders included Carl Sagan, the author of Cosmos. If you buy a copy with a membership (sorry, US residents only), we will register you as a new member for only an additional $25 (normally $37). See here for what you get as a new member.”

Our good friends over at Milk & Eggs Co. has just released a slew of new tees to the world, six to be exact! They continue the Milk & Eggs Co. tradition by delivering simple yet effective, and of course super fun designs. With the exception of Bat Tie, they make use of some very bright and bold color combinations, which I am definitely a fan of. My two favorites have got to be the shield-like Pencil Corps design and the very unusual Us & Them design.
For me, each of these T-Shirts are like a page from a story book filled with great illustrations. The main appeal of Milk & Eggs Co. designs to me is that I always want to know the story behind each illustration. Us & Them sounds like an awesome childhood book filled with big and hairy (albeit friendly) monsters. Pencil Corps sounds as if it’s the story of a militia of children armed only with pencils and their imagination.
If you share my enthusiasm for Milk & Eggs Co. then  please head on over to their shop and pick up a tee or two. The shirts are priced between $19 – $22 and are printed on American Apparel blanks.

Check out this neat tee from Public Domain Clothing called Earth-Rise. Tired of the basic skeleton tee? Well, this one sort of the Sixth Sense of skeleton tees. It’s got a twist. They’ve fused a pair of astronauts and the planet earth to make on disturbing (and rather cool) skeleton tee. I dig.
Earth-Rise is available now from Public Domain Clothing for $25 and if you use the coupon code TAKE40 you can score 40% off your entire purchase.

I’ve been a fan of The Dept. and their sci-fi-ish tees for a while now. And so I was excited when they released three new tees a few days back. The Android character might not be present in any of these new shirts but they still do retain the futuristic vibe. Clean line art and brash colors along with text worthy of being on any promotional science fiction movie poster have always defined the shirts over at The Dept. And these three new tees don’t deviate much from that winning formula.
The new shirts featured below can be purchased from The Dept. for $22 a piece.

What happens when you mix a water sprinkler with outer space? Well, you get Water The Summer Sky from ReThink Clothing. How many of you used to run through the sprinklers as a kid? I remembering doing that whenever we’d set up the huge blow up pool in the yard and I’d always have a blast. The only thing better? Skinny dipping under the moon in the pacific ocean (not that I have any experience doing this). Anyway, another great shirt designed by Zach Davenport, the same artist that designed Weather Wiper and Meteor Shower for ReThink Clothing.
Water The Summer Sky is printed on an American Apparel blank in both silver and mint colorways and is available for sale now for $18.99 but remember to use the code “COTY” at checkout and you can save 20% on your entire order!

This is an odd little tee from Phoenix, Arizona based Soul Fur Clothing. It looks almost as if it could be a doodle straight out some kids high school science notebook. I dig it. The shirt is named Rocket Man but I can’t really make out whether or not that is a monkey, cat or zombie in the astronaut helmet. Whatever it is, it looks damn scared to be in space.
Rocket Man comes printed on a 100% preshrunk cotton tee and is available now for the very affordable price of $10 at the Soul Fur online store.

Okay, I’ve said in the past that I am a hug fan of Glenn Jones but the only tees that I own of his are those that were available at Threadless. I think Rocket Science is the breaking point for me. I need this shirt. It’s filled with all kinds of amazingness that I must have it. Glenn, how do you do it? How do you come up with these genius ideas? I want your frontal lobe.
Rocket Science is printed on a black American Apparel blank and is available now from Glennz Tees for $19.95.
