Coty’s Thoughts:

Bears, Beets, Battlestar… by Doubletake Clothing. Good: Simple yet effective design, comes in two color options (black or blue), printed on American Apparel so you know that you’re getting a soft tee and if you’re familiar with American Apparel than you know what size fits best, perfect shirt for any fan of The Office. Bad: Very solid shirt but wish it was tagless, slightly pricey despite being a single color print. Price: $20.00 but you can save 10% if you use the coupon code “cotyeats10sushi” at checkout.

Bears, Beets, Battlestar...

You Are What You Eat by Doubletake Clothing. Good: Printed on American Apparel, great fit, shirt is super soft, love the green, the print is amazingly soft (love that), great shirt for funny people. Bad: Same as above. Price: $20.00 but you can save 10% if you use the coupon code “cotyeats10sushi” at checkout.

Fact: I am faster than 100 percent of all snails.

Hmmm, this is a variation of a quote from The Office that I actually saw on a friends Facebook page. I changed the snakes to snails and 80% to 100% and called it a day.

If all men became priests then humanity would go extinct.

This one came from roommates brother who said something similar (but not as good, lol).

Sketchbooks are to humans as corn fields are to aliens.

This is so true, right! Humans draw in sketchbooks and aliens take it a step further and fly to another planet and sketch on corn fields. On a separate note – I’d love to meet a bona fide alien, if you know one then hook me up.

I’m only lazy when I am awake.

I certainly felt like it on this particular day, probably because I was preparing a presentation on cognition and brain damage and I was pretty tired. In the end, the Keynote came out to over 100 slides (my slides consists mainly of images and slides with only a few words) and the presentation was super!

Sometimes I just sit alone, scratch my head and wonder why.

Yeah, this is me being emo. Probably because of the reasons I explained above.

An eye for an eye will only result in partial blindness.

Oh Mr. Gandhi was such a great dude – but he got this one wrong. An eye for an eye will only result in two guys with partial blindness. Stay away from the eyes! And be good people!

I only fall down for the push ups.

I tested this one out with a friend and he didn’t get it. His loss!

Haymaker by Sharpshirter

Here’s a great tee that I stumbled upon on Rumplo. It’s called Haymaker and it’s from our friends at Sharp Shirter. It’s an interesting piece of imagery to say the least. What looks like a Paul Bunyan type dude is knocking the teeth out of a very big and quite scary bear. Dwight Schrute from The Office might be a little offended, but I dig it.

It’s available now from Sharp Shirter for $22. The tee is printed on an American Apparel blank.

Doubletake Clothing Opens Up Shop

Doubletake Clothing is the newest brand to enter the T-Shirt market – and they’ve put their own spin on things. Doubletake, run by two good friends, is focused on collaborating with different artist on producing high quality designs and then using a portion of the profits to get involved with the community. Both Brandon and Craig, founders of Doubletake, have soft spots for serving the community and so they’ve developed a brand that centers on that.

They’ve launch their store with a single tee, one that was made in honor of the hit NBC show, The Office. The tee is called Bears, Beets, Battlestar, and, according to Doubletake, “is tested and proven to evoke the most absurd symptoms from fellow fans. Symptoms may include (but not limited to) laughter, crying, nose bleeds, sensitivity to light, unpredictable rushes of emotions, numbness in extremities, high pitched voices, Paraskevidekatriaphobia, rapid chest hair growth (yes, this applies to women as well), dry mouth, vision impairment, and excessive hugging.”

If you want to pick up the first Doubletake tee, Bears, Beets, Battlestar, then you better head on over to their online store and pick it up now since it will be gone forever after February 22. The tee costs $20.00 but you can save 20% with the coupon code coty20off so go pick it up all of you Office fans!

Goodie Two Sleeves Princess Unicorn Tee A Hit

This is a pretty cool story – our buddies over at Goodies Two Sleeves recently were reached by NBC to produce some shirts based on a fictional character discussed on NBC sitcom The Office. The character in question is Princess Unicorn (Half Girl, Half Unicorn) and Goodie Two Sleeves was given exclusive access to source material prior to the show airing to help in the creation of Princess Unicorn tees.

Last night’s episode of NBC’s The Office had Dwight pawning these crazy looking dolls and we were excited, because a while back NBC asked us to make a shirt for this episode and gave us access to all sorts of goodies ahead of everyone else. The result? Both of these awesome shirts will be available in an NBC store (or their site) soon. I’m thinking a couple weeks? Just thought I’d fill you in on the deets while the episode was still freshly hilarious in our heads.

Needless to say, the Princess Unicorn tee is now the number one sold item on the NBC online store, its’s an even bigger seller than President Elect Barack Obama’s Yes We Can DVD. Check out this clip from The Office:
