It’s Summer Sale Week at one of my favorite online tee shops, Glennz Tees! All T-Shirts are now priced at $13.95 until Midnight Sunday August 7. You save $6 per shirt – that’s an entire beers worth of savings! Since we’re talking about Glennz Tees, I’ve posted a few of Glenn Jones’ more recent illustration videos below.
Ah, good ol’ Valentine’s Day. I’m not at all religious, but, a few of my Facebook acquaintances are. One of them posted this interesting story: “One story of St. Valentine was that he was a priest or bishop who was arrested during the reign of Claudius II for marrying people, the sacrament of marriage. Claudius liked him until Valentine tried to convert the Emperor and in turn the priest was beheaded. Perhaps the true message have been diluted throughout the centuries? From sacrifice and martyrdom to chocolate and indulgence.”
Interesting, no? We went from a beheading to chocolates and roses. How romantic. Of course, there’s nothing more romantic than zombies, and our friends at Goodie Two Sleeves know that! They recently released a slew of zombified T-Shirts for the hopeless romantic. My favorite is definitely the Zombies Love Nerds design, I just wish there was a little splatter of blood.
Zombies Love Nerds is available now from Goodie Two Sleeves for $21.95.
And if you’re in the mood for a couple more tees to celebrate this heart attack of a holiday, check out this great curated list of Valentine’s Day themed tees from our friend, Macho Slut, over at Found Item Clothing.
Dance Party Massacre recently released their Summer 2010 line featuring a slew of T-Shirts and tank tops ready made for the summer heat. Alex Dakoulas, founder of Dance Party Massacre, decided to take a more art director approach and invited a few guest designers to collaborate with on the summer line, including Matt Skiff, Joe Kelly, and Mario Jalbert.
The line features the Dance Party Massacre elements that we have come accustomed to, including gore mixed in with a little light fun. You’ll also notice this line in particular features a more retro era feel reminiscent of 50’s black and white movies and biker gangs. Pieces from the new line, including tees, tanks and v-necks, range in price from $19.95 to $23.95 but be sure to use the coupon code “COTYG” at checkout for an additional 10% off your entire order! Go and buy some DPM gear now!
The Dance Party Massacre crew put together a neat little video documenting some behind the scenes action involving the summer 2010 line, specifically the product photoshoot. Take a peek at it below!
Here’s a great tee that I stumbled upon while perusing Rangga’s great site, Cottonable. This is probably the best shirt to have in the event that you find yourself in the middle of a zombie infestation. I always thought that zombies were a bit overrated in terms of the fright factor. I mean, come on, they are such slow movers! Unless of course you’re dealing with “I Am Legend” type zombies, in which case, this T-Shirt will probably not help you one bit.Â
You can pick up Zombie Survival Plan from Crazy Dog T-Shirts for $14.99.
Looks like our buddy Glenn Jones from Glennz Tees is unleashing his inner monster – through his art! Eternal Exercise and Office Chat are the latest tees from our favorite New Zealand based T-shirt artist. Office Chat is one that I’ve been wanting to see printed for a while now, ever since Glenn opened up his designs for voting, and now that it’s available I just might have to pick it up! Both shirts are available from Glennz Tees for $19.95 and are printed on silver (Eternal Exercise) and cranberry (Office Chat) American Apparel tees.
Design By Human’s own Jimiyo shot this top secret video of some fresh Zombama tees being made. Love the music and am so happy that Jimiyo didn’t throw in any cats at any point in the video, a trademark of sorts for him. I’m a dog loving kind of guy! I should also mention that the music went amazingly well with this video for some reason.Â
As promised, Never In Wonderland (NIWL) released their newest line of tees today. And what a pleasant surprise it was to see that they collaborated with artists like Josh Stomberg, Corefolio and Michael Shantz.
The corefolio designed tee, When Zombies Attack, shows NIWL owners, Daren and Kass, being attacked. What’s even better is that the first 25 people to order that shirt will receive an individually numbered poster of the same design. Get on that if you want it because it will go fast!Â
My favorite of the bunch has to be the Josh Stomberg designed Wizard of Wonderland if only because it’s inspired by Blink-182! And of course the Shantz designed tee is downright gross and wicked! Other new products include a new NIWL Cloud Logo tee and a Custom Knitted Beanie with a pom on the top.Â
